Yikes…

The last month has surely been a whirlwind. I’m not sure where all the time has gone, but I do know that we’ve been incredibly busy. Baseball has started up, plus I’ve been running C to the dentist. I think we’re up to trip four now. Throw a little babysitting in there and of course IEP season, and I have not had any spare time. I’m working on a bit of a schedule so that I can try to post a bit more regularly.

This last week, I think I only did like 3 layouts total and they were done pretty early. C had his spring band concert this past week, so we had rehearsal on Monday and concert on Wednesday. I don’t think I got home before bed time any day last week. I have updated my Scrap Page and my PL page to where I am now. I have a couple of weeks of that to catch up on, so not too bad. Easter was a bit hectic as well. We did Easter morning, the three of us, and then the other kids were here at different times. I’m kind of glad that today is a bit rainy. It’s the last day I have off and it’s kind of forcing me to stay in the house and relax while catching up on a few things.

Oh my…

I really didn’t realize that it had been a month since I updated here…wow!! I guess there just hasn’t been a lot going on and not a lot to say. I have been keeping my Scrap Pages updated, just not blogging. I seriously need to change that!! I’m about to drop tonight, so I’m not going to say much. I’m killing time waiting to see if recovery is going to work on an old laptop and then I am headed to bed. An End and a Beginning…

Another month has come and gone. Time flies when you’re having fun! January was a lot of fun playing along with MOC at The Lilypad. For the fourth year, I completed all 31 challenges and, for the first time, I go to host a challenge!! It was crazy, it was busy, but it was definitely a lot of fun!!

Document Your December

I’ve been working on my pages as I have a chance. I absolutely love this project every year. This is my 5th year doing it and I enjoy it so much. I love looking back on past years as well. My photos are not all Christmas related, they are mostly just a glimpse in to what was going on that day, no matter how small a thing. I thought I’d run by tonight and share what I have done so far. Crazy days…

This week and next are probably two of the busiest of the whole year. My goal is to be done shopping and such by next Friday when we are out of school and this weekend will be spent getting everything ready for all that goes on at my school and C’s this week. I need to do some serious catching up on wrapping and make a few gifts. I also have 2 pot lucks this week to prepare something for. This past week was spent with C’s first band concert and rehearsal. So, needless to say, not a lot of scrapping got done this past week. Actually none during the week. I hope to do some serious catching up this weekend. I have a couple of layouts to share that I managed to get done last weekend before the craziness!!

How did it get to be December?

Gahhh I’m not really sure how it got to be December! Wow! I am seriously feeling behind on life right now. Yep, all of life. I do have a good bit of shopping done and some wrapping. My goal is to be done before Christmas break starts in a couple of weeks, but we’ll see if that happens. I’d like to be able to relax and enjoy my time off this year 🙂

Love Saturday

Saturdays rock! They really do. Even if I spend a good deal of it cleaning. I love the relaxing time in the evening when I can catch up on things I’ve missed on line and not have to be worried about getting ready for the day coming up.

Sunday Evenings…

I love them. The chores are done. The house is clean. The laundry is put away. Football is on tv this time of year. I am a happy girl. Now if I could get back on track with posting here more often, it would be great haha.

Football practices are still eating away at my evenings. I’m not sure what I will do with my time when we don’t have to go any more. C has decided that he is not playing basketball this year, so we have the winter off from sports. Honestly, there is a part of me that will miss it, but I will enjoy the extra time and not have to go out on cold snowy days.

Exciting news in my scrappy world – I am now a Polly for the Lilypad! How awesome is that. I’m still just kind of hanging around getting in the swing of things and learning how things work. It’s been fun so far!! I’m looking forward to being more a part of such a great site!!

Seriously…

One day this space will become habit for me. Just when I think I’m on a roll, life throws a curve ball and I’m behind again. This time it’s for the best of reasons, though. I have a beautiful new grandson! He is absolutely precious and I adore him! I got the call on my way to work last Friday, so we spent the weekend either at the hospital or at football. This week it is raining and chilly, so I am spending some time getting caught up on all the neglected things. Football was cancelled and I was finally able to go get my hair done.
