What happened…

What the heck happened to February? Oh my gosh, how did an entire month get away from me. Sheesh. I’m seriously playing some catch up here. Just when I think I am getting in the groove, something happens and I’m never sure quite what. I guess I just let things get away from me. I’m hoping to be able to schedule a couple of posts today to share some things that I’m a bit behind on.

I will have all of my layouts updated on my Scrap Pages, but for now I thought I would just share what I’ve done for this weekend and goodies you can still find on sale through today!

It’s BYOC at The Lilypad! I swear, every month I just want to scrap with all the things, but time always gets the better of me. But this is what I did get to play with and the colors are so gorgeous and spring-like!

I did it…

I got my PL all caught up for this year, even including this week!! I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off of me! Last week, I was 10 weeks behind. I have never been that far behind! Ok, so there is one missing week. I don’t know what it is about September, but I am sorely lacking photos in September every single year! I think it has to do with getting back in the swing of work and school. I will go back and finish that page when I figure out what I’m going to do about the lack of photos…maybe a lot of journaling! But for now, I fee complete and ready to move on from here!

Seriously…

Yep, it’s seriously been two months since I posted. You know what they say about the good intentions. The summer got busy, vacation came and went, and we spent some time just in the moment. I’ve been stopping by to update my Scrap Pages and I *think* every page I’ve done is there. It’s just been a matter of not getting here to type up a post. I am going to make a conscious effort to try and post at least a couple of times a week from here on out. School has been back in session for a couple of weeks and we are finally settling in to a bit of an evening routine, so I should be able to keep up!

Today, I wanted to swing by and share some new releases for this week.

If you haven’t seen it, you have to check out the new collaboration from Allison Pennington, Etc. by Danyale, Fiddle-Dee-Dee, and Little Butterfly Wings. It’s called Life UnCensored – Daily Bull****. If there was ever a kit that I could use over and over and over, this one is it!

Still Waiting…

We are over 2 weeks in to spring now, and I am still waiting to see it! I’m looking out my window right now at snow on the ground and more expected tonight. I’m so over it. We have had a few fairly nice days here and there, but no definitive spring yet. That hasn’t stopped the busy from coming though. Baseball practices have started. IEP season at work has started. And the countdown to the end of the school year has started. Sometimes it feels like the days drag and other times it feels like life is going by at lightning speed.

One of the things that brightens every month for me is BYOC at The Lilypad!! Amazing designs that all coordinate so beautifully. And if you haven’t seen this month’s, it is gorgeous!! Here are just a few sample pages by me.

Oh Spring…

Spring just keeps popping in here for a day and giving us a little taste and then runs off again. We had a winter with pretty much no snow and now we are getting ready for our second winter storm since the first day of Spring. I am not a fan. I am not a cold weather person. I do not like snow, especially if there is a chance I will have to drive in it. But I don’t reckon there is anything much I can do about it, so we bought a bunch of snacks and we’ll just hunker down for the weekend.

I know I haven’t been by here for a couple of weeks, but I have been trying to stay on top of a class that I’m taking this semester and do a little scrapping here and there. I wanted to make sure that I got here to share some amazing new releases this week.

Marching on…

Wow, I can’t believe it is March already!! But I have to say, March makes me very happy!! I know that winter is ending, spring starts, and the time changes back to Daylight Savings Time. I think that is the happiest day of the year for me. I love the light in the evening! And that takes me back to my One Little Word that I have seriously neglected! I need to get back on my focus with that.

A new month also means BYOC at The Lilypad! Opening the store is like opening the door to spring with this BYOC! I worked with as much of it as I had time for and I absolutely adore all of it!

Moving right along…

Not so much here, but in life I guess I’m moving right along. I’m taking a class this semester on Google Classroom and Google Suite, so any and all spare time I have had has been spent on that. My new year plan for posting more regularly has kind of fallen by the wayside for right now. Maybe I need to stop thinking and planning and just do.

Anyway, I thought I’d stop by before bed time tonight and share a couple of new pages for this week.
