Hi all! Hope you are having a wonderful weekend! We had a long one due to some flooding on Friday. Then we woke up to snow on Saturday. I seriously think Mother Nature is off her meds! But I am sure not complaining about this winter. It has been amazing!
While I have a few minutes, I thought I’d stop by and share my new release pages for this week.
I have been so bad about coming here to share my layouts for Simple Scrapper, and believe it or not, they are always some of my most favorite!
I love being a part of the team at Simple Scrapper. I really feel like it helps me to create some meaningful, purposeful layouts and inspires me to create pages that I may not have thought of otherwise. The Premium Membership offers exclusive content and a supportive, generous, and inspiring community. So much amazing content! Some of the benefits include a private groups, Spark Magazine, chats, podcasts, sketches, and story starters. Totally awesome!
And here are my pages for July, August, and September:
There are just so many amazing resources that go along with a Simple Scrapper Premium Membership! It is totally worth checking in to and trying out!!
So, that’s it for me today! I hope you are enjoying your week!! Peace, out…
Happy Friday! Hope you have a fantastic weekend on tap, wherever you are in the world! Personally, I’m hoping for a quiet, simple weekend at home. I haven’t had one of those for a few weeks!
Stopping by today to share a couple of fabulous new releases for this week!
First up, a new month coming means a new Storyteller from Just Jaimee!! I think every new one becomes my new favorite!
Next is Rack ‘Em Up Collection by River~Rose. I’m loving this one because I have quite a few photos from our days of shooting pool at the Elk’s Club that I haven’t scrapped yet. Plus, I just adore the color combination! Those are my colors!
I didn’t have time to scrap with much else this week, but I hope to have more next time! Make sure you catch these goodies on sale this weekend!! Until next time, peace, out…
Hope you’re having a great week! I had to look to see the last time I updated with Life in Pockets pages, and I see that I’m actually not that far behind. This is the reason I love using Just Jaimee’s Ready to Go Templates! They make being caught up and staying caught up so easy! I haven’t gotten more than a couple of weeks behind this year and we are just about at the half way point. Wow, that’s hard to believe!
Anyway, I thought I would stop by today and share my latest pages! This is such a fun project and I am so glad I started it! Now to find time to go back and try to catch up on the years I missed!
Are you doing any tome of Life in Pockets or Project Life? I’d love to see your work! Thanks for taking the time to look! Peace, out…
Just wanted to stop by really quickly tonight and share my latest Weekly Pocket Pages. I am happily up to date and hope that I am able to stay that way for the rest of the year haha
Here are weeks 20-23 🙂
It’s been a busy time!! I’m hoping that my upcoming pages reflect some relaxation time!! Until next time…peace, out…
Whoa. I really thought I’d posted since the start of the new year, but I guess I haven’t. It’s been pretty busy, though. School started back on the 3rd and it’s been a bit of a whirlwind. I’ve been catching up on some things here at home and try to start a few new things.
MOC has started at The Lilypad and as of today, I am caught up. We’ll see if it stays that way haha You can find my pages under the Scrap Pages tab at the top and a link to my gallery there! It’s not too late to join in if you want to have some fun and possibly gain some new skills!
I also have a couple of new release pages for this week! Just Jaimee has a beautiful new add on to the January Storyteller available!
I also wanted to share my planner for this year. I went with a TN style this year and am loving it so much so far! This is what I have for January and it’s all using Just Jaimee’s Travelers Notebook Kit for this month and the first couple of weeks.
Thanks for stopping by and I will be back soon to share more! Until then…peace, out…
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We had a traditional dinner on Thursday with all the kids and one of the grandkids. The other two were at their other parents’ house and we missed them.
Are you a Black Friday shopper? I’m not so much. I don’t like the crowds and the parking and all that jazz, but I have been trying to scoop up deals online as I find them. I don’t have any particularly spectacular ones to share, except in the digi-scrapping community! Yes, there are Black Friday sales there, and they are not to be missed. Along with some upcoming Cyber Monday sales! Here are just a few of the things you can pick up this weekend:
And with all this scrapping, I’m behind on getting my DYD pages prepared and my PL, but I hope to be back on those tomorrow while I work on another little project that’s due in December 🙂 I hope that you enjoy the rest of your weekend and find some time to relax in the madness! Until next time, peace, out…
Yes, I realize it’s still November and lots of people get kind of upset when we start talking Christmas before Thanksgiving has even happened, but trust me, there is a reason behind my madness.
I absolutely love doing a document your December project every year. It helps to get me through the long dark cold days and has rejuvenated my love of Christmas. I will admit to being a total scrooge in the past and severely lacking in Christmas spirit.
I thought that I would take a little bit of time to explain my approach to documenting my December, what’s worked and what hasn’t, and how I manage to finish every year.Â
This is my 7th year doing this project, and if you’d like to see my completed pages from previous years, you can check out the December Daily portion of my blog. I will start by saying that I do my project completely digitally. I so admire hybrid and physical projects, and there are so many inspirational albums and books on Pinterest and in other places, but I know that if I tried to do something similar, I would never finish. At this point, I don’t really have the time to commit to doing the printing and cutting and all that goes in to a beautiful physical album. I can whip out digital pages pretty quickly.
There are tons of other options and some of the cutest hybrid examples I have seen are little 4×4 flip books. Also, many do full 12×12 pages. I do my project in 6×8 size simply because it seems to be the easiest for me to manage. After all, the ultimate goal is to finish the project, right?
I start by finding the perfect set of templates. This year I chose December Memories 2018 by Desgined by Soco.
Then I decide on the color scheme and choose the kits I want to use. This year, I am using pieces from Document Your December – Tis the Season at The Lilypad.
I create a folder and name it DYD. I have sections for Kits, Foundation Pages, and pages that I intend to share on the web. By doing this, I only have one location I need to go to to find what I need.
Then I start, usually about the middle of November, creating foundation pages. I start adding papers, cards, and elements, and then the numbers for each of the days. These are by no means set in stone. If my photos end up working better on another layout, I simply switch out the numbers. Here are a few of the foundation pages I’ve done so far:
For these pages, I have used pieces by Rachel Jefferies, Sahin Designs, Sahlin Studio, Etc. by Danyale, and Pink Reptile Designs.
I’m almost half way through December and, as long as I stay on track doing a couple of pages a day, I should be ready to go when December starts! Then it’s just time to take the photos and add the journaling! While some like to keep a Christmas theme to their projects, I tend to just document whatever is going on in our lives on that day. Sometimes it is Christmas and sometimes it’s not, but it’s all about the joy of this time of year.
One of our wonderful creative team members at TLP, Farrah, has created a list of prompts that may come in handy if I’m ever stuck for what to photograph.
I will screenshot this image and save it to my phone for easy reference, and I might even make it my phone background for December so that I can remember.
My biggest tip if you are wanting to document your December is to be prepared. Get started early, create foundation pages, and be ready to go when December starts. We all know how busy it can get!
Thanks for stopping by and I’d love to see your December projects!! Until next time… peace, out…
Ha I honestly did not think it had been almost a month since I last posted! Not quite sure what happened but it sure feels like I have been super busy every single day. Just dropping by today to share some fantastic new releases for this week!

I’m hoping to do some more updating soon, maybe this weekend! I am so excited to start planning my December Daily. It really helps keep me and my mind occupied during the cold dark days of winter. Thanks for looking! Peace, out…
Happy Friday!! Friday evenings are a favorite of mine. It is the one day of the week that we just do a lot of nothing. No homework, no chores, no cooking…just relaxing, maybe scrapping or movie watching. This Friday was a bit different because we had the day off due to some pretty significant flooding in the county where I teach. I feel so bad for all those who were affected by it. There were several campgrounds close to the river that were completely under water. I spent the day cleaning the house so that I can enjoy the rest of the weekend. I seriously need to spend as much time as possible catching up on Project Life! I am so many weeks behind and there’s so much more amazing, fun stuff coming up!
I thought I would jump on tonight and share the new releases for this week, and then hopefully be back to share some PL pages as I finish them!
