We are having a lovely rainy day here today. Why do I say lovely? Well, for starters, it’s not snow!! And a long time ago, I was walking my daughter in to kindergarten, grumbling about the rain when she looked up at me and said, “But mommy, if it didn’t rain, there wouldn’t be any puddles to jump in”. I have never looked at rain the same since. We had a crazy busy week, so I’m taking the rain today as a sign to slow down and catch up on a few indoor things that I’ve been neglecting. Plus, I’m getting a little time to scrap and to come by here!
I wanted to take a minute to share what’s new this weekend and the layouts I’ve created!
I’m a little behind on PL right now but only a couple of weeks. I hope to get them caught up quickly. I also have a couple of other layouts for Simple Scrapper that I need to upload and share, but I’ll be back with those 🙂 I hope you have a lovely rest of your weekend!! Until next time…peace, out…
We are over 2 weeks in to spring now, and I am still waiting to see it! I’m looking out my window right now at snow on the ground and more expected tonight. I’m so over it. We have had a few fairly nice days here and there, but no definitive spring yet. That hasn’t stopped the busy from coming though. Baseball practices have started. IEP season at work has started. And the countdown to the end of the school year has started. Sometimes it feels like the days drag and other times it feels like life is going by at lightning speed.
One of the things that brightens every month for me is BYOC at The Lilypad!! Amazing designs that all coordinate so beautifully. And if you haven’t seen this month’s, it is gorgeous!! Here are just a few sample pages by me.
River~Rose also has a gorgeous new collection out this weekend and still on sale – April Rains:
I am working on catching up with Project Life. I only need to do this week’s spread, but I will be taking some photos today to add to it. I’ve got some actual work to do for my IRL job and I guess I need to make that my priority for now. Hope to be back soon with new updates! Hope the rest of your weekend is wonderful and relaxing! Until next time, peace out…..
Spring just keeps popping in here for a day and giving us a little taste and then runs off again. We had a winter with pretty much no snow and now we are getting ready for our second winter storm since the first day of Spring. I am not a fan. I am not a cold weather person. I do not like snow, especially if there is a chance I will have to drive in it. But I don’t reckon there is anything much I can do about it, so we bought a bunch of snacks and we’ll just hunker down for the weekend.
I know I haven’t been by here for a couple of weeks, but I have been trying to stay on top of a class that I’m taking this semester and do a little scrapping here and there. I wanted to make sure that I got here to share some amazing new releases this week.
And I also wanted to tell you about the amazing Retirement Sale going on at The Lilypad!! There are some gorgeous designs that are going, going, gone! Make sure you take a peek and get them while you can.
I’m going to do some PL catch up this weekend and get my Planner set up. It’s been awhile since I updated photos of it here. I hope that you all have a fantastic weekend! Until next time…peace, out… 🙂
Just doing a bit of catching up today and some planning for what’s to come. I didn’t realize that I hadn’t been here for a couple of weeks, even though I’ve been updating my Scrap Pages.
I’ll start by sharing this week’s pages
I’m hoping to get started tomorrow on some new things and updates on some old things and basically just do better about keeping up. I need to work on scheduling a few posts in advance and on scheduling a set time to do that.
I have a couple of PL pages to finish so that is all caught up. I’m feeling determined to get it done this time. But tonight…I’m tired lol So, I’m just going to leave it at this and I’ll be back! Thanks for stopping by! Peace, out…
Ever get sucked down them? I sure do! Just about every time I sit down at the computer to do one thing, I’m off on adventures looking up a thousand different things! And that’s why I never seem to get here like I intend to! I swear, I can be going to upload a layout and next thing I know I’m looking at phone cases or reading about missing people or any other random things, but I never remember how I got there haha.
But anyway, I just wanted to pop in tonight and share some amazing new releases out this weekend and get caught up on posting my MOC layouts!
You can check out my page – MOC Pages 2018 – to catch up on all things MOC!! It’s hard to believe that it’s almost over! I am caught up through today and looking forward to the last three days of challenges!
I’m telling you, Etc. by Danyale and Little Butterfly Wings make the most beautiful babies!! They have this one out this week called Dear Karma 2: Innercircle
And it’s time for an amazing new Storyteller from Just Jaimee!! This is the February 2018 Kit
River~Rose has a lovely new kit out called Two Hearts today that I used for 2 pages of my kiddos. The first uses an older template – Mix it Up Vol 2 – by Crystal Livesay, and the second uses a brand new template – Shapin’ Up: February by Crystal Livesay and Jimbo Jambo Designs.
If I am not babysitting, I may try to swing by tomorrow and do a planner update. I haven’t done one of those for awhile! I’m out for now! Thanks for looking and I hope you have an amazing upcoming week!! Peace, out…
We’ve had a couple of snow days this week, and while surprise days off are nice, I am just not productive when it is cold at all. I don’t want to do anything except be huddled under a blanket. I’m still working on getting my organization for the new year together, but not have much luck as of yet. I will blame part of it on the madness that is MOC! So much going on and that is where I spend the majority of my time. I do love it though and that’s the main reason I’m stopping by tonight. I wanted to share the last few days of pages that I just got uploaded!
So fun!! My MOC pages are always ones that become some of my favorites for the year! Even the ones that stretch and challenge me a bit! It’s called Month of Challenges for a reason!
I need to get a few other places updated tonight, but I’ll be back to share some new goodness this weekend!! Hope you have a wonderful Friday ahead! Peace, out…
Wow, I didn’t actually realize how long it had been since I posted here. I honestly think the whole month of December was a blur! I have thought about it quite a bit, just never made the commitment to sit down and post. I’ve spent the last day or so reorganizing everything, creating new pages for the new year and coming up with ideas to get me posting here more often. We’ll see if it sticks!
I finished up my Life in Pockets for 2017 and you can see it all HERE. Well, all but one week I am finishing up. I’m not sure why I got stuck on that week, but I’ll insert it when it’s done. I also started my Life in Pockets for 2018. I have the cover done and will start on pages next weekend. I’m excited for a new year.
I also started and finished Document Your December for 2017 and you can see that HERE. I only went through the 25th because honestly we haven’t done a whole lot since then.
I’m not going back and add all the layouts I’ve done in December. I’m just far too lazy. But I hope to keep up better from now on. I plan to add the blog to my list of layout upload places and that should make it easier :).
And if you’re looking for some excitement – It’s MOC time at The Lilypad! 31 days, 31 challenges! If you complete them all you get a $20 gift certificate to The Lilypad and a chance at a Polly spot! It’s a sweet gig, I tell ya! Under my scrap pages, I added a section just for my MOC layouts! I love participating and stretching myself out of my comfort zone! It’s always exciting to see the challenges pop up every day! If you haven’t signed up, you really should! It’ll be fun, I promise!
Ok… I’m out for now. Just wanted to post a little update and get myself on track! Hope to be back soon! Until then, peace, out…
So yeah, it’s been awhile. We’ll just say that life happens and this time it was mostly football season. It consumed my every evening and every weekend since July. It all came to an end after last weekend when they lost out in the playoffs. We then spent Monday and Tuesday trying out for basketball. He didn’t make the team, but it was a really good experience for him. Anyway, I finally finding a little time to catch up on a few things. I got my Scrap Pages updated with all of the layouts since my last visit and I’m working on catching up with my Life in Pockets spreads.
I only really got one page done for this week and it was with Just Jaimee’s November Storyteller Collection. If you are not a subscriber, you are missing out on some fabulous designs and some awesome add-ons!!
I’m going to head out for tonight, but since I have my evenings back now, I hope to get here a lot more often. Until next time…peace, out….
It’s actually been a really quiet calm Sunday, and I really needed that!! Yesterday we had to be at a salute to the military and first responders during the football games and then C and I went to the movies with A and M last night. We went to see IT in IMAX. Really cool, if you haven’t seen it. But I still love Tim Curry as Pennywise!
Anyway, I thought while I was having some quite time I would come by here and share a few layouts. I didn’t scrap any new releases this week because it was so hectic, but I did upload a couple that I had done earlier.
This first one is done with for Amber LaBau’s blog template challenge! I also used it for the Random Challenge at The Lilypad. I used Wonderful You by Amber LaBau. It’s a fantastic template and you can get it for free on her blog!
This page uses Amber LaBau’s featured product for September – In the Orchard. If you create a page with this kit by September 30th, you have a chance to win $10 to her store! You can check out the details on her blog!
I’ve already scrapped a couple of pages for next week, so I will have something new to share then!
I got caught up on another week of PL today, too! Here is Week 35
That will wrap things up for me today! Hope you all have had a wonderful weekend!! Peace, out…
I can’t decide if I am busy all the time or not really doing anything at all. This summer is flying by and I am down to 2 more weeks until school starts. Part of me doesn’t mind it. I start to crave adult interaction. But part of me wishes I had a little more time to finish all the things I wanted to do. But it’s coming, like it or not. I am not going to complain about the babysitting this summer. These days are short and I will cherish this time with him always. I’m sure I will miss him when he is not with me all day. Football practice has started again, so we are spending 2 hours every day, 5 days a week at the practice field and this is our last free weekend before the games begin. Things are about to get crazy! I’m working on a plan to be more organized with my daily to-dos. We’ll see how it pans out!!
If you haven’t been by The Lilypad to check out this month’s BYOC, you really should, like now, before the sale ends. The colors are fantastic and the designers just continue to outdo themselves! I actually got a few pages done with it:
River~Rose has a beautiful new kit this weekend – Home is a Feeling – and you can still catch it on sale as well:
And here are a couple of pages that I didn’t by to share from last week:
I’m only one week away from being caught up on my Life in Pockets, so I’ll be back to share that. I also have another project that I did last week and want to share. Until next time….Peace, out…
