Hearts and flowers and love everywhere!! Now, I am not so much a lovey, dovey type, but with all the fantastic new stuff out there, it’s hard to not get caught up in it a little bit.
It’s BYOC at The Lilypad and it’s amazing as usual!! All of these pages were done with piece from it, and there is so much more fantastic stuff to be had…

I’m getting ready to work on my planner a bit before chores and then hopefully be back with updates to it and my Life in Pockets this weekend. Hope you have a fantastic Saturday!! Peace, out…
Hope your 2016 is starting off wonderfully!! I’ve been spending the last couple of day cleaning up my computer and files and getting ready for a brand new year. My goal is to take more photos this year. I’ve not taken many at all lately and I want to change that. It’s something I really love. And like every other year, one of my goals is to be more organized. I think I did much better at it in 2015, but hope to get even better in 2016. One of the ways I’m hoping to do that is by using a planner. I’ve tried different ones at different points in my life, but I’m loving the new one I got and having a ball getting it all prettied up and ready for the new year. But I’ll go more in to that later. I’m hoping to do a whole post about it maybe tomorrow. Today, I wanted to swing by and share all the amazing new release for this weekend! Make sure to check them out while they are still on sale!

I’m also participating in MOC (Month of Challenges) at The Lilypad. It’s my 3rd year and it’s always so much fun! Here are the first couple of pages I’ve done for that

Like I said, I hope to be back tomorrow to share some of my planner progress and maybe a couple of other pages. Enjoy the rest of your Saturday night!! Peace, out!
Summer vacation, that is. It’s been a short one this year. “They” decided that the school calendar needed adjusting, with school starting and ending earlier. But in order to make that happen, we have to deal with a couple of unusually short summers. I have a couple of weeks left, but, most of this coming week, I will be spending at work on some extra duty building a new curriculum for the coming year. That will leave me with one week to fill with all the things I haven’t been able to do yet. I have accomplished quite a few things, but there is still so much to do. Never enough time. C and I took off last weekend and went to Carowinds with A, his wife, and daughter. We had a blast, but were worn out. I love that we’ve been able to get away some this summer, but it seems like it takes days to get ready before we go and days to recover when we get back. I’ve spent some time working in M’s old room some more this week. We tore up the carpet in there and are almost done painting the sub floor. I just need to get my big area rug and move all of my stuff in there. It will be nice to have my own private space. I’m going to try to post some pictures of the process when I am finished.
It’s an exciting month in my scrappy time. I’m guesting this month at The Lilypad! Also, one of my favorite people, Etc. by Danyale, is also guest designing there this month. I’m super excited. I need to get my gallery here all caught up and get back on track with my Life in Pockets. These are some of the layouts I have created since the last time I was here:

Now to get them added to the gallery and finish up that floor! It’s also a beautiful day, maybe a little trip to the pond with C for some fishing is in order. Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday! Peace, out…
Whew.. So we got C’s 10th birthday off without much of a hitch. I thought it was going to rain most of the day, so we set most everything up inside. Fortunately, the rain held off until after the party. I think everyone enjoyed it. The decorations came out pretty cute if I do say so myself ha. I used Papers and Elements by Robyn Meierotto called Play Ball at Pixels and Company:
The water balloon batting practice was the favorite with little kids and big kids alike! We had a pretty low key Father’s Day and ended up just going out to eat. I think we were all worn out!
I was able to get all mostly caught up on my Life in Pockets pages. I still have this past week to do but with Traci Reed’s Pocket Life ’15: June Collection, I did get two weeks done!
Just a few other pages to share with you today…

I think C and I are headed to the pool today…It’s supposed to be a hot one! Have a great Tuesday! Peace, out…
Well, I’m in it kind of deep this morning. My PC decided to blue screen on me twice in the last couple of days, so I decided it was time for a long over-due reformat. I’ve had this computer for about 2 years and never done a good hard reformat, but I’ve put it off simply because I did not want to got through setting it all back up. Since all baseball stuff was cancelled for the weekend, and I had a bit of time, I figured it was as good a time as any. We are only going to get busier! Now, here I am, deep in re-installation hell!
I figured I would take a minute out and come share layouts for this weekend before I go any further and before I face-palm because there was something I forgot to back up (it always happens).

If and when I get my Photoshop re-installed and running, I will catch up on my Life in Pockets pages. I’m a couple of weeks behind, but it shouldn’t take me long to get caught up. Wish me luck as I go in deeper! Have a great rest of the weekend. Peace, out…
You know, the really really busy ones! Monday was mom’s 77th birthday so we headed over to her house with cake and presents to celebrate. We ended up staying a bit longer than planned while I set her up a Facebook account. Yikes! I’m not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing…time will tell I guess! She had been telling me about some of her old friends hounding her about getting on Facebook and then said “If I don’t hurry up, all my friends will be dead!” hahaha. Oh, mom.
Tuesday was C’s last basketball game. We were hoping it wouldn’t be, but they ended up losing by one point in yet another really poorly officiated game, but I digress. So, I spent Wednesday catching up on everything that didn’t get done Monday and Tuesday.
Thursday was Randy’s 45th, so more cake and present getting happened. I got him the set of headlight covers that he wanted for “Cammie” (his Camaro). And Friday, he spent the evening with her, while I did NOTHING, thankfully!
And so now here we are. I didn’t even get much scrapping done last week and I am a couple weeks behind on my Life in Pockets pages. Hoping to get caught up on those week as I am anticipating fabulous new goodies to play with!
Still there some great new releases this week!
If you are a geek like me, then you totally knew that yesterday was Pi Day, and a once in a lifetime one at that. Etc. by Danyale has an awesome bundle deal with her It’s a Theory Kit and new Perfectly Geeky. I paired it up with Cheryl’s new Fuss Free: Banner of Love templates.

New this week from River~Rose is the gorgeous spring time kit called You Can Bloom. I paired it up a template from This Journey Called Life by Two Tiny Turtles.

And last but certainly not least. Valorie Wibbens has a brand new set of templates out this weekend – Topography No. 27. I absolutely adore her templates, they are so unique and so awesome. I used her For Like Ever Papers and Sprinkles V33.

Now we get a bit of rest and gear up for our first year of baseball. Hopefully, I’ll keep up with it all! Peace, out…
What an awesome day! This has to be one of my most favorite days of the whole year…Daylight Savings Time! I love the extra daylight in the evening. I just have so much more energy when I have more sunlight in my life. I get so lethargic once the sun goes down, and when that happens right after I get home from work, it’s really rather depressing.
But I didn’t really come back today to sing the praises of DST, I wanted to share my newest Life in Pockets pages. I am keeping up fairly well so far. I still have this past week to do, but hopefully I’ll get that done later today. C has basketball practice and I have to shop for my mother’s birthday, but other than that I don’t have much else to do. Thankfully, my morning does not involve shoveling or chipping ice!!
For Week 9, I used all things Valorie Wibbens – For Like Ever Papers, For Like Ever Journal Cards, and Sprinkles V33…all at The Lilypad.
Â
I’ve added them to my Life in Pockets page, so everything there should be up to date! I’m on my way to work on some pages for releases coming up this week. Hope everyone has a fantastic Sunday!! Peace, out….
