Ready to start a new week? Yeah, I’m not, but here we go…like it or not!
Just coming by this morning before I start the routine to share my layouts for Simple Scrapper this month and tell you about something exciting that’s coming! Both of these were done using Simple Scrapper Premium Membership materials.
This one also uses a doily by Kimeric Kreations, background paper by Tracy Martin and the March Collection from Pixels and Company.
This one uses Spring Fancy and Putting Around Alpha by Etc. by Danyale
And now for the exciting part!
The membership at Simple Scrapper offers tools and support to help you enjoy scrapbooking more – to use the supplies you have, tell your stories, and have some fun among like-minded friends.
The best way to experience our community for yourself is at the upcoming Photo Crush event. During this 7-day challenge, Jennifer Wilson will help you streamline your photo library so that memory keeping is even easier.
Just thought I would take a moment to swing by and share my most recent layouts for Simple Scrapper. If you have not checked out this community and it’s membership, you are really missing out. Talk about a ton of information, inspiration, and goodies! Not to mention a wonderful group of scrappers who are always quick to support and help. Jennifer has been working like a mad woman behind the scenes to revamp the member area and it is fantastic!
The Premium Membership includes access to previous monthly content, members-only classes, and special events. They will be open for new membership soon, and you can sign up to be notified when everything is ready!

I’ll be back this weekend to share this week’s newest releases and updates on my Life in Pockets pages! Hope everyone has a great end to the week. Peace, out…
I’m not really sure where the last few days went, other than we did finally get back to work for 3 days and then off another 2. I am over winter. Fortunately, it does look like the next week or more will be beautiful and no temps below freezing! I also love, love, love the time change! I really do think about this blog every day and say I’m coming to post something and then one thing leads to another and I piddle around and don’t do it. But anyway, I’m here now and wanted to share a few new things for this week!
First up, it’s a brand new month at Simple Scrapper! If you haven’t checked out their Premium Membership, you really should. It’s a great community filled with wonderful scrappers! You also get access to a full library of sketches and Story Starters to jump start your creativity, Spark Magazine, planning tools, and lots of other unique and awesome content. Here are the layouts I created with sketches and story starters from the Premium Membership:
Basketball season is winding down and we are in the playoffs right now. I have so many photos to scrap and Traci Reed read my mind! She has this great new basketball kit and matching cards!
Val C. has a great new challenge over at Oscraps! I just loved playing with the big words that she provides for the challenge.
Also out this week is a beautiful kit called Create Joy by River~Rose. I paired it up with This Journey called Life template by Two Tiny Turtles.
And I am off to get ready for a day at basketball! Have a terrific weekend! Peace, out…
Heck yeah, let’s get this weekend started! The weather is supposed to be beautiful and I have a wrecked house that needs my attention. Ok, so part of that is a good thing. No basketball games today, but we do have to show up for pictures later today. I just wanted to swing by and make sure I share all the fabulous things going on over at Simple Scrapper.
I just cannot say enough good things about Jennifer and all she does with the site and the membership. If you haven’t check out their Premium Membership, make sure you do! It is chock full of inspiration, motivation, and fantastic sketches and story starters to help every aspect of scrapping! And if you head there today, you’ll get to see some tips by little ole me 🙂

Check it out for yourself…it’s really worth the time! And here’s to a great Saturday! Peace, out.
Ok, so I keep saying that I am working on my organizational skills for the new year and so far so good. I still have improvements that need to be made, but I am feeling better about things. One of the biggest things that has helped me has been starting a planner. I would love to have a fancy planner that I could add things to, but I had fun making my own a couple of weeks ago. I used the cover from an old notebook that I loved and customized it so that I would love using it. Here are a few (not so good) photos of it:
I made my own tab dividers using the Winter Wish Collection from the designers at Pixels and Company and added a few pieces of word art and journaling that inspired me. The bulk of the planner is from the Start Fresh Event from Simple Scrapper. It was a 5 day event that I did not get to participate in as fully as I would have liked because of all of last weeks “activity”, but it is now available as a do-it-yourself e-course!! The materials that come along with it are so amazing and so helpful and the key to getting me organized this year! There is going to be so much more This Year at Simple Scrapper to keep me motivated and inspired. I am really looking forward to all of it!
I also wanted to share the pages that I did for Simple Scrapper this month. Their membership materials make it so easy to keep scrapping!
This one was done using Simple Pleasures by Tracy Martin along with a template from the January 2015 Membership materials and a Story Starter from March 2012.
This one was done using Love the Life You Live by Tracy Martin using a Story Starter from January 2015 and a template from September 2013.
So, here’s to better organization in the coming year! Peace, out…
