Exciting new month!

Yikes! July already. The summer seems to go by sooo fast. But I do have to say that July is my most favorite month of the year! Here’s to hoping it creeps by!

I have exciting new stuff to share today! First of all, registration is open for Stash Bash at Simple Scrapper!

FlyThis page is all about the trip that my daughter and I took to San Antonio, TX to see my son graduate from AIT at Fort Sam Houston. It was her first time flying and I only wish I had been able to get a photo of her facial expressions on take off! For this page I used Simple Scrapper Premium Membership materials and 2 kits by River~Rose – Up and  Away and Life With You.

 

MomentThis is one of my all time favorite photos of my two boys. It was taken at Easter in 2011. They are the best of friends. For this page I used materials from the Simple Scrapper Premium Membership with Treasured – May 2015 Collection by Pixels and Company.

Simply Monday…

Ready to start a new week? Yeah, I’m not, but here we go…like it or not!

Just coming by this morning before I start the routine to share my layouts for Simple Scrapper this month and tell you about something exciting that’s coming! Both of these were done using Simple Scrapper Premium Membership materials.

Just thought I would take a moment to swing by and share my most recent layouts for Simple Scrapper.  If you have not checked out this community and it’s membership, you are really missing out. Well…

I’m not really sure where the last few days went, other than we did finally get back to work for 3 days and then off another 2. I am over winter. Fortunately, it does look like the next week or more will be beautiful and no temps below freezing! I also love, love, love the time change! I really do think about this blog every day and say I’m coming to post something and then one thing leads to another and I piddle around and don’t do it. But anyway, I’m here now and wanted to share a few new things for this week!

Simple Saturday

Heck yeah, let’s get this weekend started! The weather is supposed to be beautiful and I have a wrecked house that needs my attention. Ok, so part of that is a good thing. No basketball games today, but we do have to show up for pictures later today. I just wanted to swing by and make sure I share all the fabulous things going on over at Simple Scrapper.

I just cannot say enough good things about Jennifer and all she does with the site and the membership. If you haven’t check out their Premium Membership, make sure you do! Organized, say what?!

Ok, so I keep saying that I am working on my organizational skills for the new year and so far so good. I still have improvements that need to be made, but I am feeling better about things. One of the biggest things that has helped me has been starting a planner. I would love to have a fancy planner that I could add things to, but I had fun making my own a couple of weeks ago. I used the cover from an old notebook that I loved and customized it so that I would love using it. Here are a few (not so good) photos of it:

I made my own tab dividers using the Winter Wish Collection from the designers at Pixels and Company and added a few pieces of word art and journaling that inspired me. The bulk of the planner is from the Start Fresh Event from Simple Scrapper. It was a 5 day event that I did not get to participate in as fully as I would have liked because of all of last weeks “activity”, but it is now available as a do-it-yourself e-course!! The materials that come along with it are so amazing and so helpful and the key to getting me organized this year! There is going to be so much more This Year at Simple Scrapper to keep me motivated and inspired. I am really looking forward to all of it!

I also wanted to share the pages that I did for Simple Scrapper this month. Their membership materials make it so easy to keep scrapping!
