Playing Catch-Up…

I feel like I do this a lot and I’m really trying hard not to put myself in a position where I am catching up all the time! But, I can happily say that I am totally caught up on my Life in Pockets!! Now, my plan is to stay that way. I know life has a way of showing up just when I say that, but that’s my plan! I do have to say that I probably wouldn’t be caught up if it were for Just Jaimee’s Ready-to-Go Pocket Page Templates!! They have made it so easy to just pop in photos, add some journaling and be done with it. I have added and replaced some elements here and there with elements from her Storyteller Collections, but it’s been super easy! Seriously, if you are behind like I was, these are the way to go!! Simply Friday…

I have really come to enjoy the simplicity of Friday. No football practice. No homework. No cooking. No running. Friday evenings have quickly become my favorite! It’s really the only evening of the whole week with nothing to do. So, tonight I thought I would take a minute to share the layouts that I did for Simple Scrapper this month. I love being a part of the team at Simple Scrapper. I really feel like it helps me to create some meaningful, purposeful layouts and inspires me to create pages that I may not have thought of otherwise. New, new, new…

Staying up to date as much as I can right now 🙂 It will be nice when football season is over and I have my evenings back again. But until I do, I will make the best of it and get here when I can. We spent the afternoon with football games and our team lost pretty badly. I’m not sure what all they are doing wrong, or what they are doing right. Hopefully they will get it all together.

In digi-land, there are some fabulous new releases this week and I had the privilege of working with the best!!

Oh Life…

How you have a way of keeping me from blogging hahaha. Yep, I’ve been away for a bit. I think I just needed a break from being at the computer so much. Other than keeping up with my CT obligations and scrolling through FB occasionally, I haven’t been on line all that much. We’ve been doing things in the time before school started, and then there has been football practice…every day, and games, and life. Now that work and school have started, I am trying to get some order and organization in my life and coming here, I hope, will be a part of it. I’m not going to post all the pages that I’ve done over the last few weeks, but I have updated My Scrap Pages with all of them and I hope to have my Life in Pockets updated by tomorrow. I still have a couple of weeks to catch up on there. I also have some planner updates to share and what I hope will be #plannerpeace. Maybe.

I am going to share my latest layouts and then hopefully from here on out I’ll be back on a more regular schedule…and with some other things, too.

Simply Tuesday…

I think I’ve said before that Tuesdays don’t get much fanfare. Just a day, unlike Monday when everyone is bummed, or Wednesday when everyone is all about humping, or Thursday and Friday when the weekend is calling. Tuesdays are just kind of there. Not as bad as Monday, but not so good either. Simply Tuesday. I’m starting to get adjusted to simple. I haven’t done a whole lot since school was out. Going from 100mph to 0 is tough on an old lady. But I’m finally getting in the groove and getting some things done.

What I did realize is that I haven’t shared the layouts that I did for Simple Scrapper this month. I love being a part of the team at Simple Scrapper. Summer…

Today was my first official day of summer vacation!!! What did I spend it doing? Ummm, cleaning the house. What a disaster it was. This past week was so crazy, I just hadn’t had time to do anything. We also found out over the weekend that a friend of ours was killed. Robbed and beaten by a federal fugitive from California. Here, in nowhere land, hiding out, and killing our friend. The funeral is later this week. My ex-father-in-law also passed away this past weekend. His funeral is tomorrow. He was a nice man, always treated me like a daughter when the ex and I were together. This summer is not starting out on the best foot.

On a positive note, I have been able to catch up on some scrapping today and feel somewhat more “with it”. SOSN for this week at The Lilypad is live and I had a chance to play with these fantastic products that are 50% off right now!

All the crazies…

I am not even going to look back to see how long it’s been since I posted! It’s been so incredibly crazy around here with baseball, end of the school year, graduations, dance recitals…you name it, we’ve done it. All while trying to finalize everything at work for the year so I can actually start summer break. Tomorrow is our last official day, and I am soooo ready for some down time.

Crazy Days…

The countdown is on and I am feeling it! Too much to do and too little time. Come June 6, I am going to crash! Even my scrapping has taken a hit and it’s not looking too promising for the next week or so. In addition to work crazy, we have 3 baseball games this week.

I’m just dropping by so that I don’t get terribly behind in posting layouts. I don’t have much for this week, but the kits I did work with are awesome!!

Routine? What routine?

So, I was in a pretty good routine posting here, and then…hello baseball season! Oh, and the end of the year madness. I’m struggling to catch a breath these days, but here in a few weeks I will get to take a really big deep breath for the whole summer!

I’m just going to skip to the chase and post all the layouts I’ve done recently and hopefully get back on track this weekend! Some were done as CT layouts, and others as part of all the festivities for iNSD, which I didn’t get to really get in to as much as I would have liked.

Spring time and Saturdays…

I love them both! Especially together when the weather is really is as awesome as it was today. Things are starting to get back to normal around here after the last few weeks. It really was draining and exhausting. I all in for a little normalcy. Baseball practice has officially started and school work is getting crazy. It’s that time of year and I am so happy to have it here.
