I spent a good chunk of the morning catching up on my Life in Pockets. I was about 3 weeks behind but, thanks to Just Jaimee’s Ready to Go Pages, I got them all done in a decent amount of time. I have often thought about going back to creating the pocket pages myself and changing up my style a bit, but with my busy schedule, these templates work really well for me and help me to stay caught up. I know myself well enough to know that when I get behind, I just get frustrated and stop. I do occasionally change them up with bits and pieces from Just Jaimee’s Storyteller Collection and Add-ons, but I don’t have to. Here are my most recent pages using RTG Weeks 26, 27, and 28. I’ve also been using Sahlin Studio’s Number | Journal Cards Bundle for this years album. I love the variety of colors and there is always one that matches the color scheme of the template!

I’m super stoked to be caught up again and ready to start working on this week’s pages. I do like to work ahead from time to time and then putting the finishing touches on at the end of the week. Thanks for stopping by and hope your having a happy Monday!! Peace, out…

Vacation 2017 is over. As sad as that makes me, I am so grateful that we got the time away to relax, unwind, and just have some fun in the sun! We got home this evening and I’m saving the unpacking for tomorrow.

Hey, hey! Not quite as long away this time! I did actually mean to come by last night or earlier today, but I spent most of the day outside. I got the lawn mowed and set up the pool for my grandson. It was such a gorgeous day!! I didn’t get that nap I was planning on, but that’s ok, I’ll just hit the bed a little earlier tonight. We are heading out on vacation in the next couple of days. It might just be me and C, but that’s ok too! I need to get away and relax for a bit.

I wanted to get by here this weekend to show off the gorgeous new releases that I had the chance to work with. If you didn’t know, it’s BYOC weekend at The Lilypad, and let me tell you, it’s absolutely gorgeous. I’m not usually drawn to bright colors, but I have had the best time with some of this collection. Also brand new this weekend is Summer Stories by River~Rose at Sweet Shoppe Designs. I paired it with a fabulous template by Crystal Livesay that released last weekend – Dream Emporium.

It’s been a pretty quiet and uneventful one here. I have been doing a few things around the house playing catch up on a few things. C had some friends over for a little while and then we had create your own pizza night. I’m hoping to get out of the house and do something fun tomorrow…maybe 🙂

I just thought I’d pop in and share a few of the layouts from the past week. I am wayyy behind getting them uploaded in all the right places, but hopefully by the end of tonight I will be caught up.

I don’t know if I have ever mentioned the fact that Mondays are my very favorite day of the week during the summer. Everyone goes back to work, the house is quiet and mostly clean, and it’s just lovely! Early mornings are my favorite. I love to sit on the deck with my coffee and my book and just feel the sunshine.

I have a couple of reasons for stopping by today. First of all, I wanted to share some layouts that I uploaded in the last week – amazing new releases.

Yep, a whole month has gone by. I think about this space every single day, but I just haven’t been able to make myself sit down and do this. The last month has been insanely busy. Baseball three or four times a week, the end of the school year paperwork and craziness, and then throw my kids’ birthdays, dance recitals, pool parties on top of that and I am just trying to remember to breathe. School has been out for a little over a week now and in that time, I’ve mostly been babysitting. My daughter and her 8 month old are staying with us, so we are trying to find a new kind of normal in the summer routine.

I seriously have made very little time for scrapping and that needs to change. I have managed to squeeze in a few pages and keep mostly up to date on my PL pages, but I am really feeling the need to be creative a little more often and to get back to being in this space. I thought I would share just a few of the pages I’ve done lately, and if you want to see them all you can check out my Scrap Pages.

The end of the school year that is. It’s quickly approaching, and I couldn’t be more ready for it. Three more weeks to go and I am free as a bird. I already have a ton of stuff on my to-do list, but I am ready to tackle all of it…and relax. I am so looking forward to early mornings on the deck with my coffee and my book.

But for now I’m going to play a little catch up here 🙂 I’ll start with the awesome stuff that’s new this week and still on sale if you hurry!

That’s the only way to explain the last couple of weeks…pure madness. We had baseball 4 out of 5 days last week and I was trying to get layouts and prep work done for iNSD. Have you been joining in any of the festivities? Honestly, it really used to overwhelm me and I would pretty much shut down and tune out. I’ve taught myself over the years to just do what I can do, enjoy what I can, and let the rest go. But there is soooo much great stuff going on and the sales are fabulous!! I had the good fortune to get to work with quite a few new things that you can still find on sale this weekend!!

I’m a little behind on PL but hope to get caught up in the next few days! I’ve updated my scrap pages and here are a few that I hadn’t been able to share yet:

I really do like the rain, most of the time. Sometimes, it kind of forces me to do nothing for a little while. And, if it’s not too chilly, I’m not too old to play in a puddle. But, it has rained now for days. It’s going to rain for a couple more days. I’m over it. I need my sunshine back!!

Fortunately, it has given me a little time indoors to catch up on some scrappy things. I still need to work on a couple more weeks of my Life in Pockets, but I plan to do that as soon as I hop off of here. I just finished up my post for the Gallery Standouts Blog. I love being able to stroll through all the galleries and find so much gorgeous inspiration. Come on over and check out my post if you have some time.

I don’t have very many layouts for this week, but I’m hoping I can get back in the swing of things this week and get a few more pages done. Here are the ones that I’ve worked on this last week.
