I love Sundays! There is something about them that is so relaxing and peaceful. I sometimes think that maybe we should go out and do something, but our weeks are so crazy and hectic during the school year that I really enjoy just having a day of down time…a little time to just recharge the batteries. And it’s the one day of the week that I can scrap pretty much whenever I want to and make sure I’m caught up on everything before the new week starts.

Another snow day today. I’m telling you, they are getting old quickly. It’s not like having days off when it’s nice out and you can do things. Being trapped in the house is no fun, at least not for me. And I have had no motivation to do much of anything. It’s been a pretty unproductive time, with the exception of the usual laundry, cooking, dishes, repeat.
I have been able to stay pretty much caught up with scrapping, even though I have a week of PL to do. I think I will do it in the morning since we will be home AGAIN. And ohhh it’s still $2 Tuesday at The Digichick and there are some great deals to be had!! I did this page for MEG Designs:

We don’t do much to celebrate around here. I usually pick up a little candy for the kids and that’s about it. I’ve never been a big fan. I guess it’s fun for some and can be a special day, but it seems kind of forced to me. I don’t like cut flowers from the florist and my husband knows that if he comes home with them, I will probably fuss about the waste of money hahaha. To me, it is more special to get a rose from the convenience store on a random Tuesday than a dozen on a day you are “supposed” to do it. But I digress. I didn’t come here today to dump on Valentine’s Day. If you love it, celebrate it…if you don’t, celebrate something else about today.

And a snowy one here. I am totally ready for winter to be over and spring to make it’s appearance. But I guess it will happen in its own time. We had a one hour early release today because of some impending weather. It’s supposed to snow on and off for the next few days. Right now, they have us on a delay for tomorrow. I guess we’ll see what the overnight brings.

We did finally go back to work/school on Thursday. They eased us in with a couple of two hour delays! It was a nice little break, but I don’t much like not being able to go anywhere and spending most of my time off shoveling.
I’ve done quite a bit of scrapping during MOC at The Lilypad. The last challenge is tomorrow and if I get it done in the morning I will come back and share all the pages I did for that. I’m excited that I was able to finish again for the third year. It’s so much fun and some of my favorite pages come out of it.

So, yeah, we’re snowed in. I guess you’d have to live under a rock not to know about Winter Storm Jonas on the east coast. Not sure if I’ve mentioned it, but I really hate snow. Sure, I love a day off as much as the next guy/girl, but when I can’t get out of my house, I am not a happy camper. It’s not that I really have anywhere in particular to go, I just like to be able to go if I need to. I haven’t measured how much we have, I don’t care, it’s too much. And we’ll have to spend at least one whole day off shoveling. What kind of fun is that??
Anyway, nothing I can do about that. We’re stuck. The snow days have at least helped me keep up with scrapping and with MOC at The Lilypad. I really love it. I don’t think I have shared any of those pages just yet, so I may wait until the end and just share them all in one post 🙂 But I did also get to play with some awesome new goodies this week and I have added them to my Scrap Pages gallery.

I added little journal cards for each week to be able to have more space to write down memories since my planner seems to be working best for tracking CT work and blog planning.
I also added a small pocket to each week for stashing photos for the week or little momentos.

Ok, so this was not supposed to be the title of this blog post, but that’s pretty much what I’m feeling right now. I thought I would come here and get caught up on everything really quick, but my computer or this site or something is not cooperating with me and everything is taking about 10x longer than it should!
I have this huge plan of being better about coming here and so far I have not done well with that at all, despite writing it in my planner haha. But now I am frustrated and out of patience so without much other wording, let me just get up to speed with sharing layouts from the amazing talented ladies that I work for!
