Not so much here, but in life I guess I’m moving right along. I’m taking a class this semester on Google Classroom and Google Suite, so any and all spare time I have had has been spent on that. My new year plan for posting more regularly has kind of fallen by the wayside for right now. Maybe I need to stop thinking and planning and just do.
Anyway, I thought I’d stop by before bed time tonight and share a couple of new pages for this week.

I am working on this week’s pages, but other than that my PL is up to date. I have been going back and using some older JJ templates this year, instead of the Ready to Go pages. I am kind of missing them, but looking forward to a new look in my book I just had my 2017 book printed and I am loving going through it!! Here are the last couple of weeks:

Just doing a bit of catching up today and some planning for what’s to come. I didn’t realize that I hadn’t been here for a couple of weeks, even though I’ve been updating my Scrap Pages.
I’ll start by sharing this week’s pages
I’m hoping to get started tomorrow on some new things and updates on some old things and basically just do better about keeping up. I need to work on scheduling a few posts in advance and on scheduling a set time to do that.

We’ve had a couple of snow days this week, and while surprise days off are nice, I am just not productive when it is cold at all. I don’t want to do anything except be huddled under a blanket. I’m still working on getting my organization for the new year together, but not have much luck as of yet. I will blame part of it on the madness that is MOC! So much going on and that is where I spend the majority of my time. I do love it though and that’s the main reason I’m stopping by tonight. I absolutely love Saturdays! There is something so calm and peaceful about them…no rushing around, no stress. Even time to come here and blog!
I have never been one to do much with a “one little word” for the year. I mean, I usually start the year thinking about something I would like to focus on, but I’ve never taken it much farther than that. This year, I decided that I really need to not only choose a word, but really focus on what it means in my life. Over the Christmas Break, I was watching some Instagram stories from people I follow and they were talking a lot about a #lighttheworld campaign. It really made me stop and think and ultimately led to me choosing Light as my word for this year. The more I thought about it, the more it made sense to me in several different ways. I’m going to spend some time jotting down all the ways that light impacts my life and my hope is to blog regularly about how I am focusing on light in my life.
To start things off, I created this page for River~Rose Designs this week, who created an amazingly perfect kit!! It’s called Be A Light:

Among the things that I have had in my thoughts regarding light are ways in which I can lighten up in my life. Being a part of Simple Scrapper has helped me focus on some of those ways as far as my scrapbooking goes, and in other areas! It’s Friday!! Of course it hasn’t been much of a work week for me! We went to school on Wednesday on a 2 hour delay, and have been off ever since due to the extreme cold. Most of that time for me has been spent babysitting my water pipes that like to freeze up when it gets too cold. My poor hairdryer is worn out! I think I am really craving routine though. I’m having a tough time structuring my day and spend too much time getting lost in rabbit holes online.
But, I have done some scrapping because…BYOC and MOC! The colors in this month’s BYOC at The Lilypad are so gorgeous! Here are the pages I’ve done with it:

Time goes by a whole lot quicker than I think it does sometimes. I hope that Thanksgiving was a blessed one for all those who celebrated. We went to my mom’s for dinner on Wednesday and then had a quiet dinner of leftovers here on Thursday. We took the time to get the Christmas decorations up and the house looking festive! So yeah, it’s been awhile. We’ll just say that life happens and this time it was mostly football season. It consumed my every evening and every weekend since July. It all came to an end after last weekend when they lost out in the playoffs. We then spent Monday and Tuesday trying out for basketball. He didn’t make the team, but it was a really good experience for him. Anyway, I finally finding a little time to catch up on a few things. I got my Scrap Pages updated with all of the layouts since my last visit and I’m working on catching up with my Life in Pockets spreads.
I only really got one page done for this week and it was with Just Jaimee’s November Storyteller Collection. If you are not a subscriber, you are missing out on some fabulous designs and some awesome add-ons!!

Oh wow, it’s been a while since I was this glad to see Friday come!! Can I be real for a second? I love what I do, really, but weeks like this really test my sanity. I’m not sure if there was just something in the air or what, but the kids have been out there…like, way out there! I’m exhausted. But it’s Friday, there was no football practice, and I’m chilling in my PJ’s and hanging out online while I listen to the 12 year old yelling at a video game. Yep, he’s out there, too…wherever “there” is. I would almost swear it’s a full moon, but I know it’s not. Anyway, I thought I’d swing by and share my pages for this week. It’s actually been a really quiet calm Sunday, and I really needed that!! Yesterday we had to be at a salute to the military and first responders during the football games and then C and I went to the movies with A and M last night. We went to see IT in IMAX. Really cool, if you haven’t seen it. But I still love Tim Curry as Pennywise!
Anyway, I thought while I was having some quite time I would come by here and share a few layouts. I didn’t scrap any new releases this week because it was so hectic, but I did upload a couple that I had done earlier.

It’s been a really low key Labor Day around here. I did some laundry, mopped the floor, and took a nap…perfect. I was also able to scrap a few pages and print some stickers.
I just thought I’d drop by and share my PL pages for the last few weeks. I still have the spread for this week to do and I’m all caught up again, but it will probably have to wait until next week.
All of my pages for this year use Just Jaimee’s Ready to Go pages!! They are a life saver for me. All I have to do is add photos and journaling and I’m done. Sometimes I change things up a bit, but if I’m in a bind, I don’t have to. They are seriously amazing!!
And while I’m here… I’m going to try to stay more of top of sharing my planner pages. For those I use Just Jaimee’s Story Planner kits. They are amazing as well. I’ve been printing the stickers for my desk planner and also making a pocket planner for my purse using all the contents of these kits.
