Life got a little crazy there for a bit. We went back to work after too many days off and that took some adjusting to get back in to a routine.

I wanted to share about an exciting new venture for Rachel Jefferies and Lynn Grieveson! They have released a “Project Kit” over on their Pixels, Paper & Paint Substack! Happy Friday! We are still snowed in over here, but I finally got out of the house for a few minutes. We needed some groceries before the next snow hits us tonight and in to tomorrow. For today, the prompt is Special Little Things. This is a page all about a VW bus my dad gave me. He knew that I had always wanted the real thing and since he couldn’t give me that, he have me this sweet replica. I look at it daily and I miss him all the time.

I’m back with my next page for January, Pixels, Paper and Paint ‘These Moments Matter’ Month of Challenges from Rachel Jefferies and Lynn Grieveson. For today, the prompt is Overlooked Details. This photo may look just like another sunrise over the ocean, but it is from a location that is very special to me. I have visited this same spot for well over half my life; as a teen, a young mom, and even with grandchildren. As of this past year, that place has been sold and I won’t experience the sunrise from this spot again. I’m excited for new adventures, but sad that it’s gone. Bittersweet for sure.

Happy New Year!! New years are new beginnings and I am hoping to find a new beginning with my scrapbooking. 2024 was an off year for me. I lost my drive and found myself doom scrolling more than creating. I need to change that for 2025! I’m sharing my pages for January, Pixels, Paper and Paint ‘These Moments Matter’ Month of Challenges from Rachel Jefferies and Lynn Grieveson. They are both so inspiring and creative. It’s time to get things rolling again!

My first page is for the prompt ‘A Glimmer’. This was a moment I captured between two of my grandchildren. My (only) grandson is so good with the little girls. He is always interacting with them and looking out for them!
