Been a while since I came by here and honestly, I’m not sure where the time went ha. I fully intended to blog last weekend, then I thought I would while on Thanksgiving break, but yeah, it just didn’t happen. I did update my Scrap Pages with last week’s layouts and I thought I would take a minute to swing by and share all that’s new this week. No nonsense out of me this week. Not really feeling the best today, so short and sweet. Here’s all the fabulousness in the shops that I had the privilege of working with:
Thanks for looking and I hope you have a great week ahead!! Peace, out…
Hope everyone is enjoying Digital Scrapbook Day! I’ve been trying to hang around as much as possible and I’ve taken advantage of some great sales! This last week was kind of crazy for me with my birthday and working late because of parent/teacher conferences, but I am so glad that I was also able to get some scrapping in with the awesome new products that have hit the stores for this fun weekend! Check out some of the great stuff you can find and at great prices for DSD:
And now I’m just beat, so I think I’m going to enjoy some couch time and come back to see what fun is going on tomorrow! Have a great weekend!!
I thought we were going to get off easy this year with Halloween being on Saturday. Not so much. Instead, it turned in to a two day ordeal and 3x the make-up. C had to be ready for his Halloween party at school on Friday, and I played with some make-up on myself. Then, right after school, we re-did the make-up and went to work with A at the Rescue Squad’s haunted house. It was a lot of fun, but made for a really long day. We didn’t get home until about midnight. We did make-up again on Saturday for trick-or-treat. I have had my fill of candy :p
Today, we went to mom’s to celebrate my birthday a couple of days early. My sister, her husband, and one of her daughters and her husband came. But the best part was having all 3 of my kids, my daughter-in-law, and my granddaughter all together. We are so seldom any more it seems. Having grown children is different for sure. We are supposed to go out to dinner on Tuesday for my actual birthday. And Thursday is parent/teacher conferences, which means staying at work until 7. Going to be a long week!
Now to update some scrap pages from this weekend… there’s still time to catch them on sale if you hurry!
And I caught up on a couple of weeks worth of my Life in Pockets.. All using Pocket Life ’15 – October Collection by Traci Reed and 365Unscripted: Plastic Stitched Grids by Traci Reed. I am still a little behind, but not too far.
I am also having a go at at mini gratitude album for November using 4×6 Photo Templates by Paislee Press
Starting on some 2016 Calendar Pages thanks to some fabulous new releases from MEG Designs
Â
I will make a gallery somewhere for them. Hope you all have a great first week of November! Peace, out…
I kind of love Saturday nights. Not that I ever do anything really exciting, but I feel like it’s a good time to catch up with the world. And now I’m going to catch up on uploading some layouts 🙂 All of these kits are still on sale, so make sure and check them out if you get a chance.
I have a few more pages to share, but I will come back and do that tomorrow. I also need to get caught up on my Life in Pockets. Tomorrow is supposed to be another rainy day, so it will be a great day for scrapping 🙂 Enjoy Saturday night. Peace, out…
I said I would come back and update my Life in Pockets today and figured I had better do that before I start putting it off again. Especially since you can get such a great deal on Traci Reed’s Pocket Life ’15: September Collection at such a great price right now! I love this one!! The colors are fabulous and the cards and elements are not to be missed! Here are this week’s pages from me:
Hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend! I’m off to be scrappy 🙂 Peace, out…
Man, do the weekends ever fly by! Chilly and rainy Sunday here. I am so not ready to let go of summer! I think I would enjoy fall a whole lot more if it didn’t mean that winter was right behind or if I didn’t have a ton of leaves to deal with in the mean time. But it’s coming whether I like it or not. I did get my first Pumpkin Spice Latte on Friday and that makes me very happy! Plus football has started!
Swinging by here this morning to show off some of the amazing designs that I had the pleasure of working with this week. You can still catch them on sale and they are all fabulous!!
First up… I am so excited to now be a part of Sahin Designs Creative Team. Here designs are so amazing!! This one is called Monochrome Fall and it’s available at The Digital Press and her Personal Store.
I also used it for this week’s Life in Pockets Spread along with her Stitched Pockets
Next, Traci Reed has an awesome new kit called Rugged, and it is beyond great for those guys in my life!
Next is a beautiful new kit called Beautiful Life by River~Rose and you can find it in her guest shop at The Digital Press.
And last, but certainly not least… Danyale has some amazing stash builders this week, and some of my favorites – Neutrals!! I paired them with a little from her Shabby Boho kit.
Starting school earlier this year was not on my list of favorite things ever, but I have to say it is nice to have a little break after only a couple of weeks. Usually we have to wait until Thanksgiving for a day off. I’m trying to enjoy every minute of it and not rush through all I have to do like normal weekends. I meant to come by earlier today to share this week’s pages, but I worked on catching up on my Life in Pockets a bit this morning and then mowed grass this afternoon. Mom came by for a bit and then it was time to cook dinner.
Lots of beautiful new stuff this weekend and there’s still time to get it on sale! I have a few layouts using BYOC products at TLP…mixing and matching by Etc. by Danyale, Amy Wolff, and Valorie Wibbens. You can still catch these on sale if you hurry 🙂
River~Rose is guesting at The Digital Press this month and has this awesome new collection
Traci Reed and Studio Flergs teamed up this week for a super fun new kit – Fridgemonster
It’s a new month and that means a brand new collection from Pixels and Company! This one is called Free Spirit and it’s a beauty!!
The rest of these layouts were ones I did for SOSN at TLP last week. These kits are not on sale any more, but definitely worth checking out!
I’m hoping to get all caught up on my Life in Pockets by tomorrow. Hope you all are enjoying your Labor Day weekend!! Peace, out…
Sundays are bittersweet. They are so nice and relaxing, no pressure to do anything except make sure everything is ready for the upcoming week. But there is the bitter part – upcoming week. It’s all good, routines are nice sometimes.
Stopping by here quickly to share my pages for this week. My guest spot at TLP is coming to an end. It’s been super fun and I hope I get the chance to work with all of them again. And also, if you haven’t see the news, Amy Martin is retiring and her store will be closing tomorrow. This makes me very sad. She was one of the reasons I started shopping at TLP and I will miss her templates a lot! She does have a fantastic sale going on, so get there before they are gone – Amy Martin Shop.
I still need to catch up on my Life in Pockets pages and I hope to do that in the next day or two. I just need to get my photos in order. Thanks for looking and I hope everyone has a fantastic rest of their Sunday! Peace, out…
Well, normally I would be happy to see Fridays come, but this one not so much. It is technically my last day of summer vacation. Looking on the bright side, let the countdown begin again! Part of me does crave the routine of the school year, but the evenings do become so rushed and there never seems to be enough down-time. But like it or not…here it comes again!
Fridays are pretty awesome in the digi-world. Lots of gorgeous new releases! I have a few new pages to share.
First up is Lifetime Stories Kit and Document Set by Etc. by Danyale at The Lilypad. I did this page for the Journaling Challenge.
I am totally enjoying being a Guest Polly for this month, especially since I get to work with amazing designers like Sissy Sparrows. It’s been a bit since I got to play with one of their kits and they are so fabulous. This one is The Marble Jar.
Over at Pixels and Company Celeste Smith has curated this adorable kit called Foodie. that is a great compliment to the August Collection as well as a great stand-alone kit.
And last but certainly not least, and brand new tonight, is Little Miss Sunshine by Traci Reed. Adorable!
Looking forward to a relaxing last weekend before the rush begins. Enjoy yours!!
Summer is winding down and I am slowly coming to terms with that fact. I’ve had to work several days this last couple of weeks, so I think that’s kind of easing me back in to things. I finished up my transformation of M’s room in to a new office for me and I will share photos of that in a new post. There are a few things I didn’t get to this summer, but no point in stressing about it. It is what it is. We’ve had a good time and been able to do some really fun things. I have one week left and I hope to pack as much fun in to it as possible!
The best thing about it being August for me is the fact that I am a Guest Polly at The Lilypad this month and getting to work with some absolutely amazing designers and scrappers! I think I have scrapped more this week that I have all summer. Look out…here come all the layouts…
August also means a brand new collection – Bon Appetit –Â from Pixels and Company. They are always so amazing and this one is no exception!
I also have 2 new pages for Traci Reed. I love both these kits..so fun and so appropriate for my wild and weird children!
River~Rose has a new guest spot at Ginger Scraps and I love this adorable new kit. I used it to scrap M’s kindergarten photo from 15 years ago. One of these days, I’ll be caught up on their childhood lol.
Whew! Thanks for hanging with me. I’m off to see what I can get in to today and hopefully get some more scrapping done. Have a great Sunday!!
