I have that tattooed on my wrist and I look at it often…especially this time of year. I try very hard not to get overwhelmed with all that lies ahead for the next few weeks. I know it will get done, it always does! I’m just looking forward to breathing deeply and maybe relaxing just a bit.
I wanted to swing by and share this week’s layouts before I get behind again. I’m already about 3 or 4 weeks behind on my Life in Pockets, but I’m hoping to work some on that tomorrow evening. We’ll see… But, here are this week’s pages from those amazing designers I have the privilege of creating for….
I also had the awesome opportunity to work on a new project – Project Grateful, a monthly collaboration from some incredibly talented designers. This month’s is Project Grateful – Homemade, and it is fantastic!
Hope everyone is enjoying Digital Scrapbook Day! I’ve been trying to hang around as much as possible and I’ve taken advantage of some great sales! This last week was kind of crazy for me with my birthday and working late because of parent/teacher conferences, but I am so glad that I was also able to get some scrapping in with the awesome new products that have hit the stores for this fun weekend! Check out some of the great stuff you can find and at great prices for DSD:
And now I’m just beat, so I think I’m going to enjoy some couch time and come back to see what fun is going on tomorrow! Have a great weekend!!
Just swinging by because I had to share the great deals happening right now and they are about to end…so run LOL!
If you haven’t seen, it’s Dollar Days at Pixels and Company. There are tons of gorgeous designs and they are all $1 each. Today is the last day, so don’t miss it!! Here’s a few pages I did with just some of the things you’ll find there:
Summer is winding down and I am slowly coming to terms with that fact. I’ve had to work several days this last couple of weeks, so I think that’s kind of easing me back in to things. I finished up my transformation of M’s room in to a new office for me and I will share photos of that in a new post. There are a few things I didn’t get to this summer, but no point in stressing about it. It is what it is. We’ve had a good time and been able to do some really fun things. I have one week left and I hope to pack as much fun in to it as possible!
The best thing about it being August for me is the fact that I am a Guest Polly at The Lilypad this month and getting to work with some absolutely amazing designers and scrappers! I think I have scrapped more this week that I have all summer. Look out…here come all the layouts…
August also means a brand new collection – Bon Appetit – from Pixels and Company. They are always so amazing and this one is no exception!
I also have 2 new pages for Traci Reed. I love both these kits..so fun and so appropriate for my wild and weird children!
River~Rose has a new guest spot at Ginger Scraps and I love this adorable new kit. I used it to scrap M’s kindergarten photo from 15 years ago. One of these days, I’ll be caught up on their childhood lol.
Whew! Thanks for hanging with me. I’m off to see what I can get in to today and hopefully get some more scrapping done. Have a great Sunday!!
Holy cow, I really didn’t realize that I had not been here in so long. I honestly think about this blog every day and open it to start a post and then BAM something or someone distracts me. We were gone for a week to the beach and I didn’t have as much online time there as I thought I would have, and most of the time the internet sucked. I am planning to add some pictures to my Photos page when I have a little patience time.Since we’ve been back, I’ve jumped in to a couple of project that really needed taken care of.
First of all, I painted my daughter’s room. I could not stand another day with the bright a$$ pink that was in there. It is one of the first things you see when you walk in the house, and there was always this pink glow every where. Here is the before and after:
I absolutely love the new color! I am going to rip up the nasty carpet in there and have decided that I am going to try painting the floor underneath and adding a throw rug for the time being. We’ll see how it turns out and I will try to remember to take photos of that as well. Can’t wait to finish the process of turning this in to my new office/craft space.
Yesterday, I cleaned out my incredibly messing junk laundry room. It is a huge room and I would love to come up with some neat ideas for fixing it up. I think I need to hit up Pinterest!
I have scrapped some…not a lot, but some. I’m not too far behind on my Life in Pockets and I will update that page as well as my Scrap Pages. Here are the pages I have done since the last time I was here:
We are supposed to head up to my dad’s old office today and move some furniture and finish cleaning it out. It makes me a little sad, but I know that my mom will be relieved to not have to deal with it any longer. She needs to relax a little. Have a wonderful Wednesday!! Peace, out…
The start of a new month also means a brand new collection from Pixels and Company. I so look forward to these every month, they are always amazing and I am able to use them over and over again, all month long! This month’s collection is called Wanderer, and the matching Journaling Cards are so awesome!
Here are two of the pages I have created, so far, with this fabulous collection:
I was going to title this post Manic Monday, but it wasn’t really manic at all. I spent the first part of the morning on the deck reading a new book and then cleaned out the hall closet. We had sloppy joes for dinner and I’ve been scrapping ever since. The title also reminds me that next week we will be at the beach and I can eat at one of my favorite places, Mellow Mushroom!
Just swinging by to share my latest Life in Pockets pages. I am all caught up!!
I have training for work tomorrow and working at my dad’s old office with my mom on Wednesday to try to get it cleaned out so they can sell the building. Hoping to get another baseball game in there as well. So, I’ll be back when time allows. Have a great start to the week!
Yeah, so it’s been a couple of weeks and yeah, same ole busy, busy, busy. I am taking a class this semester and, every little bit of weekend time that I’ve had, I’ve spent working on stuff for the class. It’s interesting stuff, if you like classes on teaching methods, but between that and the usual spring IEP, paperwork, testing, etc, I don’t have much “free” time. We have a 4 day weekend going on right now. That is the extent of our “Spring Break”. I am so envious of those who get a whole week off, but we are on the countdown to the end of the year! I’m also tackling a pretty big project in my time off…painting all my kitchen cabinets. They’ve needed an update for a long time. I got about half way through yesterday and will probably get the other half tomorrow. Today, we are going to color eggs and go to mom’s for dinner.
We got C all signed up for baseball a couple of weeks ago and he had try outs last week. We heard from the manager of the team yesterday and he will get to be #45 (Michael Jordan’s baseball number). Their team is the Giants and we have our meet and greet on Tuesday evening.
I haven’t had a chance to see it in person yet, but M now has a house of her own! I have informed her that she now must come and get all of her stuff haha. I’m dreaming of a craft room! But all of that will probably have to wait until summer, when I have the time to do it.
I have managed to get in some scrapping the last couple of weeks, and pretty much keep up with my weekly spreads. I’ve updated both galleries, but here are some of the pages I’ve managed to squeeze in…
Thanks for having a look and hope everyone has a happy and blessed Easter! Peace, out…
February already? This time of year, I love having the time fly by! Even though we haven’t had much of a winter, I’m ready for spring! Give me the warm sun in my face and flip flops on my feet! We spent the weekend with basketball and football. We had a snow day on Friday which really helped me out with getting the house cleaned up, since Saturday was tied up with basketball and yesterday was spent getting ready for, and then having company for, the Super Bowl.
Just thought I would swing by here today to share the new Collection at Pixels and Company for February. I have only just begun creating layouts with this beautiful collection. I just love everything about it!!
There is also a fabulous Birthday Bash going on, so be sure to swing by and check it out! Fun challenges and great prizes!! Even one for creating your own cell phone case! How fun is that? Here are the pages I’ve done so far…
Come have some fun with us!! Until then…peace, out!
