Whew!! I got so far behind on my PL weekly spreads! I hadn’t let that happen all year, but going back to work and all the things leading up to it just took it out of me! I have been able to spend part of this long weekend getting caught up again and it’s such a relief.
I give most of the credit to the Stories of Life Templates created by Scrapping with Liz and Just Jaimee‘s Storyteller Collections! Both of these make it so super easy to get caught up!! If you are looking to do a project like this, I highly recommend!!

Who out there is still doing Project Life or something similar? Are you keeping up and up to date for this year. As of right now, I am. I hope to stay that way!! We are officially half way through the year, and here’s to hoping that the second half is better than the first half. I could use a little peace and tranquility! I have kept up so far with my weekly spreads. From time to time I have to do a 2-3 week catch-up, but not a big deal. I am so enjoying using Stories of Life Templates by Scrapping with Liz, and Just Jaimee’s Storyteller Collections always help me get my books done with ease.

This has really been a rough couple of weeks for my family. I mentioned in my post last week that we just attended the funeral for one of my uncles, and then on Monday we got the news that another of my uncles had passed away. We’ll be attending his funeral tomorrow. They both led long full lives, but it is still so hard to let go and say good-bye. I have no doubt that those two and my dad are filling Heaven with some serious laughter!! Oh my, the stories those boys could tell. All of us could sit and listen to them for hours! I need to take some time at some point to tell some of their stories.
I guess that goes back again to why I take time to scrapbook. To tell the stories, even if it is only with pictures sometimes. I’m not the best journaler, but I am trying! I am thankful to find a little down time tonight to come by and share new layouts with my designers amazing new products for this week!
