Well the last month has sure flown by! If you know me, you know that this time of year is always the busiest for me. The end of the school year and all that goes along with it makes me about crazy. We are a couple of weeks from school being out and I’m feeling it for sure! I’m hoping to do some catching up around here this weekend while we have an extra day off, but for now I’m thought I’d pop in and share this weekend’s new releases.
New from Just Jaimee is Mom Life – Storyteller May 2019 Add-on
New from Allison Pennington and Lynn Grieveson
And new from River~Rose
Aren’t they all fantastic!! I’ll be back with more later this weekend!! I hope that you all have fun plans and make wonderful memories this weekend!! Peace, out…
What the heck happened to February? Oh my gosh, how did an entire month get away from me. Sheesh. I’m seriously playing some catch up here. Just when I think I am getting in the groove, something happens and I’m never sure quite what. I guess I just let things get away from me. I’m hoping to be able to schedule a couple of posts today to share some things that I’m a bit behind on.
I will have all of my layouts updated on my Scrap Pages, but for now I thought I would just share what I’ve done for this weekend and goodies you can still find on sale through today!
It’s BYOC at The Lilypad! I swear, every month I just want to scrap with all the things, but time always gets the better of me. But this is what I did get to play with and the colors are so gorgeous and spring-like!
And Wishing Well Creations by Laura Passage has this super cute collection – Plant a Seed
That catches me up for new releases this week! Make sure and check my Scrap Pages to see what I was up to during February! I’ll be back with some more good stuff soon!! Thanks for looking!! Peace, out…
I know I’ve mentioned before that I am not a fan of cold weather, winter, snow, any of that stuff. The shorter days can really get me down. But, there are a couple of things that keep me going through a lot of those days. One of those is my December Daily project. I just added a page here on the site for it and my cover page is done. I’ve also been working on some foundation pages so that I have it all ready to go when December starts. I’m trying to do a couple of pages a day, so that come December 1st, all I have to remember to do is take the photos. I talk a little bit about my process and other ways of going about it in this thread – DYD Sizes and Styles – at The Lilypad. I may come back one day soon and share a little more detail here. Everything I’ve used is from the Document Your December section of The Lilypad store. You can also check out what I’ve done in previous years in the December Daily section here on the blog.
For now, here’s my cover for this year:
And here is a sample page I did:
Are you doing a December Daily project this year? I’d love to see how you go about it!
I also want to share this absolutely gorgeous new release from Just Jaimee this week! The colors are stunning!!
I’ve got more goodness to share, so I’ll be back sometime this weekend! Thanks for looking and I hope you are enjoying your Friday night!
We are having a lovely rainy day here today. Why do I say lovely? Well, for starters, it’s not snow!! And a long time ago, I was walking my daughter in to kindergarten, grumbling about the rain when she looked up at me and said, “But mommy, if it didn’t rain, there wouldn’t be any puddles to jump in”. I have never looked at rain the same since. We had a crazy busy week, so I’m taking the rain today as a sign to slow down and catch up on a few indoor things that I’ve been neglecting. Plus, I’m getting a little time to scrap and to come by here!
I wanted to take a minute to share what’s new this weekend and the layouts I’ve created!
I’m a little behind on PL right now but only a couple of weeks. I hope to get them caught up quickly. I also have a couple of other layouts for Simple Scrapper that I need to upload and share, but I’ll be back with those 🙂 I hope you have a lovely rest of your weekend!! Until next time…peace, out…
Not so much here, but in life I guess I’m moving right along. I’m taking a class this semester on Google Classroom and Google Suite, so any and all spare time I have had has been spent on that. My new year plan for posting more regularly has kind of fallen by the wayside for right now. Maybe I need to stop thinking and planning and just do.
Anyway, I thought I’d stop by before bed time tonight and share a couple of new pages for this week.
And this page is using the new Perspective by River~Rose
I am working on this week’s pages, but other than that my PL is up to date. I have been going back and using some older JJ templates this year, instead of the Ready to Go pages. I am kind of missing them, but looking forward to a new look in my book I just had my 2017 book printed and I am loving going through it!! Here are the last couple of weeks:
Hopefully I’ll be back soon. I’m hoping to get a planner update done in the next couple of days!! Thanks for looking!!
It’s Friday!! Of course it hasn’t been much of a work week for me! We went to school on Wednesday on a 2 hour delay, and have been off ever since due to the extreme cold. Most of that time for me has been spent babysitting my water pipes that like to freeze up when it gets too cold. My poor hairdryer is worn out! I think I am really craving routine though. I’m having a tough time structuring my day and spend too much time getting lost in rabbit holes online.
But, I have done some scrapping because…BYOC and MOC! The colors in this month’s BYOC at The Lilypad are so gorgeous! Here are the pages I’ve done with it:
And I am keeping up with MOC so far! If you haven’t joined in, you really should…it’s a lot of fun and community spirit!
I’m hoping to pick up my big camera some more starting tomorrow and get to work on my PL for 2018. I have a start on it but not sure I’m happy. I need to think on it haha.
Hoping to have more to share soon. Have a wonderful weekend!! Peace, out…
This is one particularly happy Thursday!! You gotta love a great four day weekend!! I’m telling you, no one really knows what it’s like inside a school on the first week back with students after summer break. I’m exhausted as I know all of my teacher friends are. I really need this weekend to get myself back on track and feel like I am with it again! The best part today was when they cancelled football practice and I got to come home and grab a nap!
If you weren’t aware, it’s BYOC at The Lilypad!! I didn’t get to play as much as I wanted to, but I swear I seriously love each one more than the last! Here are a couple of pages that I did manage to get done last night:
And just because I didn’t get here last week to share my pages, here are a couple that I did with some amazing designs!
And now I am off to try to do a little catch up on PL and hit the bed kind of early. I’m still pretty tired and I’m ready to get started tomorrow! Until next time, peace, out…
A lot like Christmas!! Especially if you have been over at The Lilypad this weekend. The designers have knocked it out of the park this week with all their amazing Document Your December creations! This is one of my very favorite projects of the whole year! I try really hard to have all the pages mostly made before December starts so that all I have to do is add photos and journaling. I did a cover pages and several other pages this past week, so I have a good start! The photos it my layouts here are from last year, but I will redo them when the time comes with this year’s photos!
I’m starting to feel so festive hahaha
But there are some other fantastic creations out there this week! MEG Designs is the featured designer at The Digital Press. Her whole store is on sale 30% off and she has some beautiful products!
Also at The Digital Press is this gorgeous kit by River~Rose
And last but not least, is this gorgeous collection by Sahin Designs
I’m going to spend the rest of the weekend working on PL for this week and trying to get some more DYD layouts ready to go. December will be here before we know it!!
There’s something refreshing about a new month. Time to start over, start fresh. Here we are in November. As much as I dread the cold weather cBOYoming, part of me loves this time of year and starting to think about the holidays. Football is over now and we have our evenings back again. Maybe with the new month and more time, I can spend more time here.
What a great weekend it is in digiscrapping!! Designers never cease to amaze me with new and gorgeous creations!!
