Snow Day #10 and New Releases

Yep, snow day #10…and I am just going to leave it at that!

Taking time out of my doing nothing to swing by and share round one of new releases in digiscrap this weekend! As usual, these designers have outdone themselves!

First up is this beautiful mini kit by Val C. Designs called ArtBook – Beautiful and available at Oscraps.

Over at ScrapStacks, River~Rose has a beautiful new kit called You Can Fly. First I paired it with an amazing new bundle of templates by Two Tiny Turtles, also available today at ScrapStacks, called This Journey Called Life:

Cabin Fever!!

Oh has it ever set in. I love my family, truly I do. But after a week of being trapped in the house with them, it’s a wonder we are all still alive! I know I’ve mentioned that we have gotten off pretty easy in the weather department this winter, but Mother Nature decided that it was time for us to pay! It started snowing last Saturday and we got a little and then all hell broke loose. We have been out of school all week because of a combination of more snow and below 0 temperatures. I am seriously going stir crazy. This is definitely the time of year that I wish I lived in town and not on these hilly, windy, privately maintained roads. I have only ventured out the front door to shovel. And not only that, but I have been a total sloth inside the house. I just have no motivation to do anything. I feel like I have spent the last week doing nothing but cooking, eating, and washing dishes.  Ok…I’ll stop complaining now. They were calling for up to 12 more inches tomorrow, but have backed off to a more mix type thing, changing to rain. Thank GOD! I so feel for all of the people in states where they are dealing with much worse than we are.

We’ll move on to some scrappy things! I have done a little of that this week, so I will share some of the fabulous stuff you can find in the shops and on sale this weekend.

Simple Saturday

Heck yeah, let’s get this weekend started! The weather is supposed to be beautiful and I have a wrecked house that needs my attention. Ok, so part of that is a good thing. No basketball games today, but we do have to show up for pictures later today. I just wanted to swing by and make sure I share all the fabulous things going on over at Simple Scrapper.

New Month, New Week, New Stuffs!

February already? This time of year, I love having the time fly by! Even though we haven’t had much of a winter, I’m ready for spring! Give me the warm sun in my face and flip flops on my feet! We spent the weekend with basketball and football. We had a snow day on Friday which really helped me out with getting the house cleaned up, since Saturday was tied up with basketball and yesterday was spent getting ready for, and then having company for, the Super Bowl.

Just thought I would swing by here today to share the new Collection at Pixels and Company for February. I have only just begun creating layouts with this beautiful collection. I just love everything about it!!

Hump Daaaay!

Yeah, played out, I know! Wednesday has another name around here…just plain ole trash day. That’s how I gauge the days of the week..by what has to be done on certain days. The trash doesn’t really run on Wednesday, but around 6am on Thursday, so out it goes on Wednesday night. And for the record, taking the trash out when it’s bitterly cold really sucks! We also had basketball practice today, getting ready for the game tomorrow. C’s team is undefeated so far! Another busy week. I went to have my nails done yesterday and I get my hair done Friday for the first time since A’s wedding! My roots are baaaaad. There are seriously so many days that I wish I would just go gray already. I’m going to think of them as my natural highlights and let it go. But so far I have only had 2 or 3 here and there.

But I didn’t come here to blab about trash or basketball or hair. I am just swinging by to update my Project Life pages. Four weeks in and keeping up so far. Traci Reed’s Pocket Life ’15: January Collection is just amazing and has made the pages come together so easily. Here’s my week 4 (The Week 4 title is by One Little Bird and the templates are Traci’s 365Unscripted.
