Rabbit Holes…

Ever get sucked down them? I sure do! Just about every time I sit down at the computer to do one thing, I’m off on adventures looking up a thousand different things! And that’s why I never seem to get here like I intend to! I swear, I can be going to upload a layout and next thing I know I’m looking at phone cases or reading about missing people or any other random things, but I never remember how I got there haha.

But anyway, I just wanted to pop in tonight and share some amazing new releases out this weekend and get caught up on posting my MOC layouts!

Too Much Time…

We’ve had a couple of snow days this week, and while surprise days off are nice, I am just not productive when it is cold at all. I don’t want to do anything except be huddled under a blanket. I’m still working on getting my organization for the new year together, but not have much luck as of yet. I will blame part of it on the madness that is MOC! So much going on and that is where I spend the majority of my time. I do love it though and that’s the main reason I’m stopping by tonight. Friday, y’all…

It’s Friday!! Of course it hasn’t been much of a work week for me! We went to school on Wednesday on a 2 hour delay, and have been off ever since due to the extreme cold. Most of that time for me has been spent babysitting my water pipes that like to freeze up when it gets too cold. My poor hairdryer is worn out! I think I am really craving routine though. I’m having a tough time structuring my day and spend too much time getting lost in rabbit holes online.

But, I have done some scrapping because…BYOC and MOC! The colors in this month’s BYOC at The Lilypad are so gorgeous! Here are the pages I’ve done with it:

New Year…

Wow, I didn’t actually realize how long it had been since I posted here. I honestly think the whole month of December was a blur! I have thought about it quite a bit, just never made the commitment to sit down and post. I’ve spent the last day or so reorganizing everything, creating new pages for the new year and coming up with ideas to get me posting here more often. We’ll see if it sticks!

I finished up my Life in Pockets for 2017 and you can see it all HERE. Well, all but one week I am finishing up. I’m not sure why I got stuck on that week, but I’ll insert it when it’s done. I also started my Life in Pockets for 2018. I have the cover done and will start on pages next weekend. I’m excited for a new year.

I also started and finished Document Your December for 2017 and you can see that HERE. I only went through the 25th because honestly we haven’t done a whole lot since then.

I’m not going back and add all the layouts I’ve done in December. I’m just far too lazy. But I hope to keep up better from now on. I plan to add the blog to my list of layout upload places and that should make it easier :).

Sunday Funday…

It’s actually been a really quiet calm Sunday, and I really needed that!! Yesterday we had to be at a salute to the military and first responders during the football games and then C and I went to the movies with A and M last night. We went to see IT in IMAX. Really cool, if you haven’t seen it. But I still love Tim Curry as Pennywise!

Anyway, I thought while I was having some quite time I would come by here and share a few layouts. I didn’t scrap any new releases this week because it was so hectic, but I did upload a couple that I had done earlier.

This first one is done with for Amber LaBau’s blog template challenge! I also used it for the Random Challenge at The Lilypad. I used Wonderful You by Amber LaBau. It’s a fantastic template and you can get it for free on her blog!

Happy Labor Day…

It’s been a really low key Labor Day around here. I did some laundry, mopped the floor, and took a nap…perfect. I was also able to scrap a few pages and print some stickers.

I just thought I’d drop by and share my PL pages for the last few weeks. I still have the spread for this week to do and I’m all caught up again, but it will probably have to wait until next week.

All of my pages for this year use Just Jaimee’s Ready to Go pages!! They are a life saver for me. All I have to do is add photos and journaling and I’m done. Sometimes I change things up a bit, but if I’m in a bind, I don’t have to. They are seriously amazing!!

And while I’m here… I’m going to try to stay more of top of sharing my planner pages. For those I use Just Jaimee’s Story Planner kits. They are amazing as well. I’ve been printing the stickers for my desk planner and also making a pocket planner for my purse using all the contents of these kits.

Happy Thursday…

This is one particularly happy Thursday!! You gotta love a great four day weekend!! I’m telling you, no one really knows what it’s like inside a school on the first week back with students after summer break. I’m exhausted as I know all of my teacher friends are. I really need this weekend to get myself back on track and feel like I am with it again! The best part today was when they cancelled football practice and I got to come home and grab a nap!

Busy or not so much…

I can’t decide if I am busy all the time or not really doing anything at all. This summer is flying by and I am down to 2 more weeks until school starts. Part of me doesn’t mind it. I start to crave adult interaction. But part of me wishes I had a little more time to finish all the things I wanted to do. But it’s coming, like it or not. I am not going to complain about the babysitting this summer. These days are short and I will cherish this time with him always. I’m sure I will miss him when he is not with me all day. Football practice has started again, so we are spending 2 hours every day, 5 days a week at the practice field and this is our last free weekend before the games begin. Things are about to get crazy! I’m working on a plan to be more organized with my daily to-dos. We’ll see how it pans out!!

Document Your December

I’ve been working on my pages as I have a chance. I absolutely love this project every year. This is my 5th year doing it and I enjoy it so much. I love looking back on past years as well. My photos are not all Christmas related, they are mostly just a glimpse in to what was going on that day, no matter how small a thing. I thought I’d run by tonight and share what I have done so far.
