TGIF

Fridays don’t mean a whole heck of a lot on summer vacation, but well, it’s still Friday 🙂 Just got finished updating my Scrap Pages and man, there was some gorgeous stuff to play with this week. Credits are attached to all of them so you can find all the goodness!! I am almost caught up on Project Life. I have to do last week’s page and this week over the weekend. I’ll get that updated in the next day or so.

Summer is quickly winding down. The schools here in this area have already gone back, so I am glad that I teach down the road a bit! We have several things going on the next few days. I go with A and C to Roanoke tomorrow to get their tuxes for the wedding. THAT should be interesting. I told C that on Monday we would head to Pipestem State Park and go horseback riding. He has never been on one, so that should be interesting, too! We also need to get in a few more pool trips before the summer is over! I have to go to work on Wed of next week for some training…yuck! I finally got my hair done yesterday after 7 months and it feels so much better!

I shared a fun pic on Facebook for Throwback Thursday yesterday, so I thought I would share it here as well. I miss my dad.

This was taken in 1996 at Smith Mountain Lake, VA. My parents owned a condo there and we spent a lot of time in the summers at that place. Yes, this is what my dad liked to do for fun – hang my children from curtain rods LOL He was the best!

I’m out of here for now. It’s a rainy day and I have some errands to run. Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!

Starting a new week behind…

So, what else is new…right? haha This last week was a pretty busy one. I had all the kiddos here for Mother’s Day which was awesome and the rest of the week was spent getting C ready to take his first SOL’s. I won’t get off on that subject, because as a teacher and a parent, it could get pretty long winded! I don’t anticipate the craziness letting up any time soon, but counting the days until there is nothing 🙂 Friday was kind of tough because it would have been my daddy’s 77th birthday. I miss him so much…every single day. He was my rock and the one person I could always count on to be there for me without judgement or hesitation. My Throwback Thursday this week was just for him…

I also managed to squeeze in a little scrapping this week. Lots of gorgeous stuff out there in the shops. I’m so fortunate to create for some amazing ladies.

Throwback Thursday and Some Scrap

I always have the best time looking back through old photos and trying to decide on my Throwback Thursday (#tbt). I try to rotate through all of my children and throw in a little of my childhood sometimes. This week I chose one of my favorites of A when he was about 4. This photo was taken on a road trip to Kings Island. Not sure exactly why he put the Happy Meal box on his head, he’s just goofy like that.

I didn’t scrap much at all this week. Most of the designers that I CT for took the week off. I think everyone was a little hungover and needed a break from iNSD. So, I just have a couple of layouts to share.

Tracy’s kits always make me happy and this one is no exception. Her papers are drool worthy, let me just tell you. New this week from Tracy Martin is Little Sew & Sew. I paired it up with an awesome new template from Andrea – Little Green Frog – called Rule of Thumb. These are awesome!!

Throwback Thursday and Some Scrappin’

I always have a good time looking back through photos, finding something fun to post for Throwback Thursday. This week I chose a photo from 2006 – C’s favorite game of pulling M’s hair!
