It’s a brand new month and that means lots of brand new goodies in digi-land! I’m a little behind this weekend because I did some babysitting and took some time offline, but I thought I’d drop in and share some of the fantastic new releases!
Sweet Shoppe has a birthday celebration going on and River~Rose has this gorgeous new kit:
I’m getting ready to work on some Project Life during this Super Bowl and get caught up there! I hope you all have an amazing week!! We are supposed to have some gorgeous weather and I’m excited!! Until next time…peace, out…
Happy Friday and Happy February!! So glad to have the weekend here!! It’s been a miserably cold week and it makes doing anything less than enjoyable! I’m looking forward to the next few days of much warmer weather!
I thought I’d pop in today and share my Project Life progress for this year so far!! I’m super excited to be in my 7th year of PL. I was kind of up in the air about my format for this year, but in the end I decided to go back to using Just Jaimee’s Ready-to-go pages. I know that I can keep track using those and not fall far behind. They are so easy and so quick! I adore them! The weekly cards I’m using this year are Weekly Vol. 1 by Designed by Soco. Here is what I have so far:
I’m loving it so far and will be working on Week 5 this weekend! I hope you all enjoy your weekend!! Peace, out…
And a really cold one, too. I’m read to say good-bye to winter, but I have a feeling it’s going to hang on a little while longer!
I seriously behind on sharing my layouts for Simple Scrapper. I just cannot say enough good things about this community. I love being a part of the team at Simple Scrapper. I really feel like it helps me to create some meaningful, purposeful layouts and inspires me to create pages that I may not have thought of otherwise. The Premium Membership offers exclusive content and a supportive, generous, and inspiring community. Some of the benefits include a private Facebook group, Spark Magazine, chats, podcasts, sketches, and story starters. Totally awesome!
Here we are at the end of January already!! Whew, it has flown by and that makes me super happy. I’m not a fan of winter at all and the faster those months go by the better. Yes, I do wish my life away when it comes to winter! The one thing that has really helped me be more positive and enthusiastic during January is MOC at The Lilypad. Seriously, having a challenge a day to focus on keeps my mind off of the dreary cold weather and gives me something to look forward to every day!! We are nearing the end now and I am all caught up with the challenges! It’s super fun! This is my 6th year participating and those layouts are some of my favorites ever! I love being challenged to try new things and learn new techniques. I have a page set up here for those layouts – MOC 2019, and honestly thought I’d get by here a little more often to share, but it hasn’t worked out that way. And you can check out the full list of challenges and their explanations here – Month of Challenges 2019.
Another reason I stopped by here is to share my layouts from this past weekend’s new releases. I ended up rearranging some furniture and babysitting this weekend and didn’t get here to post, but here they are 🙂
I’ll be back in a day or two, I still have a few Simple Scrapper pages that I am behind on sharing! We have a snow day today, so maybe I will get some posts scheduled to get that done 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!! Hope you are warm wherever you are!! Until next time… peace, out…
Whoa. I really thought I’d posted since the start of the new year, but I guess I haven’t. It’s been pretty busy, though. School started back on the 3rd and it’s been a bit of a whirlwind. I’ve been catching up on some things here at home and try to start a few new things.
MOC has started at The Lilypad and as of today, I am caught up. We’ll see if it stays that way haha You can find my pages under the Scrap Pages tab at the top and a link to my gallery there! It’s not too late to join in if you want to have some fun and possibly gain some new skills!
I also have a couple of new release pages for this week! Just Jaimee has a beautiful new add on to the January Storyteller available!
And River~Rose has this beautiful kit. It was wonderful for scrapping how much I miss my dad every day.
I also wanted to share my planner for this year. I went with a TN style this year and am loving it so much so far! This is what I have for January and it’s all using Just Jaimee’s Travelers Notebook Kit for this month and the first couple of weeks.
Thanks for stopping by and I will be back soon to share more! Until then…peace, out…
December and 2018 are quickly coming to a close. Christmas has come and gone, and it was wonderful! But now it’s time to look to 2019. I have worked really hard the last few days to finalize both DYD and my PL for 2018, and I did it!! All in the books and ready to start fresh with the new year. Full disclosure that I did actually skip on week of PL this year. It was the first full week in September and I honestly had no photos whatsoever. I blame it on going back to work and just being beat. I was going to try to go back and fill in some things, but in the end decided to just let it go *sings loudly*.
You can find both finished projects on their pages! I have already started new pages for 2019 and a new page for MOC 7! If you don’t know anything about MOC, it’s a challenge a day for the entire month of January! It’s so much fun and I always learn so much! If you complete all 31 challenges, you win a $20 gift certificate to The Lilypad and you will have 31 amazing pages! You can register for MOC here – https://the-lilypad.com/forum/threads/month-of-challenges-7-will-you-accept-the-challenge.59164/ . It is so much fun!! The challenges, the friendship, the support, and the just plain fun!!
They sure do seem to fly by! We welcomed a new addition on Dec. 13. My daughter had a baby girl and we are all in love, especially her big brother. That kept me pretty occupied for a few days. They are settling in at home now and we are all scrambling to finish getting ready for Christmas. I am finished shopping and wrapping and now only have the cooking for dinner to do. We don’t do a traditional type dinner because I am never sure when we will have company, so I plan on making a few different finger foods and appetizers to have on hand.
But, the main reason that I am here is to share my layouts for this week. Just a few of them because of all the crazy going on around me, but there were sure some stunning new releases this week! And you’ll see our new addition in a couple of these pages 🙂
Thanks for stopping by to look and I hope to be back to share some DYD progress soon! Until then, peace, out…
December is moving right along and moving along with it are my daily pages. At this point, I am a couple of days behind, but with my foundation pages done, I will be caught up in no time. It’s just a matter of plopping in the photos and adding a bit of journaling.
Here is where I am to this point:
I love how it’s turning out and can’t wait to see the whole thing done? Are you documenting your December? How’s it coming along? I’ll be back with more soon! Peace, out…
I’m not sure where the time is speeding off to, but I am not nearly ready for Christmas to get here. I still have shopping and baking to do and it seems like no time to do it. I’ve been snowed in for a couple of days, so I’ve been catching up on things here in the house and did get my presents wrapped, but I’m beginning to feel the panic. I also have a grandbaby coming in the next day-ish. My daughter goes in to be induced tonight, and hopefully she will be here bright and early tomorrow. So, today is the day that I need to get out and get some things done, but I wanted to come by here really quick to share some pages from the weekend when I let time get away from me!
I’m a little behind on December Daily, but I’m going to get that caught up quickly and come back with an update! Thanks for stopping by! Until next time…peace, out…
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We had a traditional dinner on Thursday with all the kids and one of the grandkids. The other two were at their other parents’ house and we missed them.
Are you a Black Friday shopper? I’m not so much. I don’t like the crowds and the parking and all that jazz, but I have been trying to scoop up deals online as I find them. I don’t have any particularly spectacular ones to share, except in the digi-scrapping community! Yes, there are Black Friday sales there, and they are not to be missed. Along with some upcoming Cyber Monday sales! Here are just a few of the things you can pick up this weekend:
At The Lilypad:
At The Digital Press:
And at Sweet Shoppe:
And with all this scrapping, I’m behind on getting my DYD pages prepared and my PL, but I hope to be back on those tomorrow while I work on another little project that’s due in December 🙂 I hope that you enjoy the rest of your weekend and find some time to relax in the madness! Until next time, peace, out…
