I’ve been keeping up pretty well with this project. In case you don’t know, I chose photography and more specifically just getting back in the habit of using my Nikon again more regularly as my project. I am taking the photos every day, even if I don’t get them uploaded on time haha.
Just thought I’d pop in and share some of the more recent photos
You can see them all here – #the100dayproject. Thanks for looking! Until next time, peace, out…
Finally, a bit of a break from work! We don’t get much of a spring break, but I cherish every second! It’s that time of year when everything is pretty crazy and I could use some down time. Plus, I do have a little work that I need some free time to catch up on!
Just thought I’d swing by and share my layouts for this week. There are some gorgeous new releases come at you!
Thanks for looking! I’m going to work on a post for the next day or so catching up on #the100dayproject. Hope you have a fantastic weekend!! Peace, out…
Just dropping in to share the latest layouts for my Life in Pockets. I got behind for a couple of weeks, but caught up on them today. This year I went back to using Just Jaimee’s Ready To Go Templates. They are awesome. There is nothing like them if you have limited time and want to stay on top of whatever your project might be. I didn’t use them last year and found myself behind more times than I can count.
Here are weeks 13 and 14 🙂
I do make a few changes here and there. I like a clean white or whitish background so I always swap out the background paper with a white from that month’s Storyteller Collection. There are times that I switch out a word art here and there to better match the photos I’m using.
Where, oh where, has my time for blogging gone?! I think I usually just let the days get away from me. I get busy with little projects and this sits here neglected. I am open to ideas on how to blog more consistently. I think I need a plan and a schedule that I work on sticking to.
It’s a super busy time of year for me. If you don’t know, I am a high school special education teacher, and this is the season of the IEP. I am covered up in paperwork and meetings, and will be for about the next month or so. I love what I do, but the paperwork is a chore sometimes. It’s also assessment time, so I have that to deal with as well. C is not playing baseball this year, so I do have my evenings back. But I sincerely miss sitting at the ball field, even if it meant I was behind on the rest of life.
I am also now officially behind on PL for the first time this year. I need to sit down and get caught up on the last three weeks or so. I have my photos organized, so all I really need to do is get them in the pages and do a little journaling. If nothing comes up tomorrow I may do that and then update here. I’m also going to work on coming up with a more consistent blog schedule as well.
With all that said, I’ve added a new project to my list haha. I started #the100dayproject. To quote their page: “#The100DayProject is a free art project that takes place online. Every spring, thousands of people all around the world commit to 100 days of exploring their creativity.”
For my project, I decided to take photos. I have not picked up my Nikon for months and was really missing it. I am taking at least a photo a day with it and my goal is to get back in the habit of taking photos! I’m going to create a page for it in my Random Photos, but here is what I have so far:
They are not fabulous portraits or anything, but that’s not what I’m shooting for here. I just want to start using my camera again and practicing every day.
I’m headed now to update my Scrap Pages for the week and then add the photos to their own album. I hope to be back to share more in the next day or so! Thanks for looking and I hope you have an amazing rest of your week!
Hope everyone is having a beautiful week and happy to be getting over the hump! Not much going on here, just taking it day by day and enjoying what we can.
It’s SOSN at The Lilypad and I had the privilege of scrapping with Spring Days by Designed by Soco and Dunia Designs. You can get it today for 50% off, so don’t miss it!!
Also hopping on today to share the latest updates to my Project Life. I am staying up to date thanks to Just Jaimee’s Ready to Go Pocket Pages! They are totally amazing and so easy to use. It makes staying on track easy peasy! You can see all my pages on my Life in Pockets, but here are the last few weeks!
Happy Monday, everyone! It’s a cold one here, and I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of Spring, or at least some sunshine. We have had so much rain! I’m trying not to complain, because at least it’s not snow, but it’s just so dreary.

What the heck happened to February? Oh my gosh, how did an entire month get away from me. Sheesh. I’m seriously playing some catch up here. Just when I think I am getting in the groove, something happens and I’m never sure quite what. I guess I just let things get away from me. I’m hoping to be able to schedule a couple of posts today to share some things that I’m a bit behind on.
I will have all of my layouts updated on my Scrap Pages, but for now I thought I would just share what I’ve done for this weekend and goodies you can still find on sale through today!
It’s BYOC at The Lilypad! I swear, every month I just want to scrap with all the things, but time always gets the better of me. But this is what I did get to play with and the colors are so gorgeous and spring-like!
And Wishing Well Creations by Laura Passage has this super cute collection – Plant a Seed
That catches me up for new releases this week! Make sure and check my Scrap Pages to see what I was up to during February! I’ll be back with some more good stuff soon!! Thanks for looking!! Peace, out…
It’s a brand new month and that means lots of brand new goodies in digi-land! I’m a little behind this weekend because I did some babysitting and took some time offline, but I thought I’d drop in and share some of the fantastic new releases!
Sweet Shoppe has a birthday celebration going on and River~Rose has this gorgeous new kit:
I’m getting ready to work on some Project Life during this Super Bowl and get caught up there! I hope you all have an amazing week!! We are supposed to have some gorgeous weather and I’m excited!! Until next time…peace, out…
Happy Friday and Happy February!! So glad to have the weekend here!! It’s been a miserably cold week and it makes doing anything less than enjoyable! I’m looking forward to the next few days of much warmer weather!
I thought I’d pop in today and share my Project Life progress for this year so far!! I’m super excited to be in my 7th year of PL. I was kind of up in the air about my format for this year, but in the end I decided to go back to using Just Jaimee’s Ready-to-go pages. I know that I can keep track using those and not fall far behind. They are so easy and so quick! I adore them! The weekly cards I’m using this year are Weekly Vol. 1 by Designed by Soco. Here is what I have so far:
I’m loving it so far and will be working on Week 5 this weekend! I hope you all enjoy your weekend!! Peace, out…
And a really cold one, too. I’m read to say good-bye to winter, but I have a feeling it’s going to hang on a little while longer!
