Whew!

Just when I think I am going to get a week without a lot going on LOL And it even started off ok…Monday and Tuesday were fairly good and somewhat peaceful. So Wednesday morning I get up, come downstairs and am met by Morgan who says “Mom, I’m sick”. Let me start by saying, Morgan never gets sick. I think the last time I had her at the dr for an illness, she was like 5. She said she was throwing up and had a sore throat…so my mom instinct tells me strep…classic symptoms. So I finish getting ready, take Chance on to day care to keep him away, and off we go to the ER thinking its well before dr.’s hours, we can hopefully get in and out of there. NOPE. Oh it started off well…right back to the room…no waiting room, so I’m all smiles. They do the strep test, flu test, and blood work. (btw..I have never seen anyone get so excited about snot as that nurse did LOL). Wait…wait….wait. Now they want a chest x-ray! What? She has no cough, no congestion…hmmm. Wait…wait…wait. Now they want urinalysis..white blood count is up, could be a UTI. Wait…wait…wait. Dr. comes back and says…well, we don’t really know what it is, there’s an infection somewhere, so here’s an anitbiotic. OMG…I’m sure some of you can relate!! We get home about 2 in the afternoon, time to go get Chance.
Thursday was ok other than my wonderful ex decided that it was ok for DS #1 get to go to a concert in Charlotte, NC…..about 3 hours away…on a school night…with a 19 year old and an 18 year old. Sheesh! I’m sure he rested easy that evening and night but I sure didn’t. They got in about 3:30am! So come Friday, I was just exhausted and didn’t have the energy to do much of anything at all but sit! I’m feeling quite a bit behind on my scrapping stuff….but I’m not going to sweat it…I won’t let it be stressful and lose how much fun I have with it 🙂
