Happy New Year’s Eve!

Thought I should get one last post up for 2008. Wow, what a year it’s been. I always have really mixed emotions at the start of a new year. My mom used to tell me that she was sad because she always saw it as an ending, but I think this year, while I do have some really good memories, I’d rather see the new beginning that is coming! 2008 was one heck of a year…ups and downs galore. Here’s to hoping that 2009 brings happiness, a bit of peace, and some harmony! A break from some of the stress from the last year would be wonderful!! So, here’s to a fantastic 2009. As my blog/scrap friend Linda would say….Fill it to the brim!!

On to some scrapping stuff! The challenges and the teasing are getting geared up at Digital Scrap Garden…what a wonderful place full of wonderful (albeit a bit goofy) ladies!! It’s such a fun and chatty place to hang 🙂 Check it out! Katherine aka Flutter Expressions still has her CT Call open until the 11th…talk about a sweetheart to work for!! And now, some layouts I’ve done the last couple of days 🙂

This was done for the desktop challenge at DSG! The desktop template is by Ladybug Graphix and the kit I used is Wedgewood by Dancing Princess Designs at DSG.

This was done for the Scrap Bingo game at DSG! How fun! I used Ladybug’s Rainy Day kit for this one!

Here is another Christmas morning layout. I used it for the quote challenge at DSG! I used Gift Wrapped by Sweet Digi Scraps at BTST!

I was RAK’d this gorgeous kit at DST. It is called Love Bug and it’s by Helene at Scrapbook Graphics. This layout was done for the Weeds and Wildflowers Challenge at DSG. The challenge was to do something different with a photo of a Christmas tree.

I think that’s it for now! I hope to get hopping on some January challenges with the few days of vacation I have left. We won’t do much for New Year’s Eve…hang out here, I suppose. I am planning to make this awesome buffalo chicken dip for tonight. I got the recipe from another scrap friend, Mat…she had it as a layout at Scrapbook Flair probably a year or so ago. I’ll have to try to share it sometime…it really is fantastic if you like hot and spicy!!
Anyway, Ya’ll have a wonderful day and a fabulous New Year!!!!
