Long Day!

Kind of a long day today, so I probably won’t ramble as much as yesterday lol. In the process of getting ready to drive to see DS’s swearing in ceremony, he calls…very disappointed. He is color blind…we’ve known that for several years now (when we found out I felt really bad for all the times I yelled at him for not being able to match his clothes LOL)…and because of that he cannot do what he wanted to do in the National Guard. But after a talk with the recruiter and his cousin who is in the Guard, he decided to stick it out and choose something else. He is going to be a Medic. He has to go next summer for 9 weeks to Fort Jackson, SC and the 17 weeks at Fort Sam Houston, TX. He starts drill next month.
My parents have become more supportive since finding out all the benefits he will receive, like the paid college tuition. They took us out to dinner tonight since they couldn’t make the cermony…Outback…YUM!! I will be scrapping photos of the ceremony soon….not sure I have it in me today LOL. The older two have gone to their dad’s for the weekend, so it’s just me and the little guy right now (hubby’s working late). Hope everyone had a great day and is looking forward to a great weekend ahead!! 🙂
